I post what I want and I do not ask approval of what I reblog!!!

I see pictures on my feed that do not suit my aesthetic, that make me go ewwwww, not my cup of tea, etc. I scroll on. I do not reblog it.

BUT

I do check comments and replies on reblogs. I love positive comments, I love smiles, I love people thanking others for being so open.

Sadly some folks think that posting negative comments is helpful, it is not! Or posting emojis that convey disapproval of the body in the pic.

When I see this, I do one thing. BLOCK. No 2nd chances, no do overs, done. BLOCKED.

2 blocks this morning. This Friday I will check all reblogs for any negative BS and that blog will lose access.

Not a threat, just real life.

P.S. I can love your blog content!!! but not follow because of at least 2 of the following reasons.

Political bullshit. I come here to chill, politics is never chill!!!! It is always one-sided and bombastic no matter what the side of the line is. Several blogs I LOVE I have had to unfollow because their content was just infuriating! Left and/or right. Show me T and A and I am there but when the political stuff overwhelms I am out.

A DOGE official in his 20s testified today that he canceled federal research grants based on personal judgment. No peer review. No subject matter expertise. No formal process. Just him. And books he had read. He flagged a grant studying HIV in prisons during the Reagan and Clinton era — decades of academic research — as “one of the craziest” because it mentioned LGBTQ in the description.

He flagged a grant examining the military service experiences of Black, Native American, female, and immigrant veterans as crazy.

His qualification for making these calls: “A person can have enough judgment from reading books.” He was then asked if he regretted cutting programs that may have led to people dying. “No.” Did DOGE reduce the deficit?

“No.” A person in their 20s. Reading books. Canceling peer-reviewed academic research. Deciding what knowledge the American government is allowed to fund. No experience. No regret. No results. Under oath.
