I don’t know if anyone’s gonna read this but, I keep worrying about my art followers.

I actually want to grow my audience, not just on tumblr but on my other art social media as well (my Instagram has the most). Like how do artists garner 1,000+ followers so easily? 1,000 followers on my IG is actually my goal, but I’m very far from it. Yeah, I think that I’ve been pretty consistent with my posts for the most part, but just uploading my art seems to not be enough? I also comment and like other artists’s art or reblog/like other arts but, what am I missing?

My art these days have been fan art and well, based on my notes/likes, my art gets buried in the endless amount of posts like a needle in a haystack. Yeah it makes me feel like shit but it won’t stop me from drawing. I think I just have to draw and post more to get myself out there :/

I also have more than one goal with my art and that is to 1) draw art to sell and 2) start my webcomic. These days I’ve been leaning towards drawing art to sell but I neglected my comic ideas for too long...I guess it’s up to me and my motivation to do something about it.
