@askblvnk A book I read recently is Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller. It is a retelling of the story of Achilles during the Trojan War, casting it as a romance between him and who historians say is his “friend” Patroclus. After reading this story of them as lovers, I honestly cannot look at any story of Achilles the same way again. I saw a more human, more sensitive side of Achilles instead of just all of his flaws. This story has so many layers, and it made feel feels. Loved this book through and through.
