Now What?

I wish I had more to post but I haven’t had as much time to draw lately !! This upcoming week I should 😏

I wanted to dive into making these characters a bit more fleshed out since the movie didn’t have that much time to establish much personality for each individual.

So! Since I love this film so much I wanted to figure out what hobbies some of them might have and I thought Sunny would definitely love to cook for family and friends. He just has the energy about him lol

I've seen this before, likee and reblogged, saved etc. It came across my dash again today as a part of a compilation and the reaction was just as strong as the first, maybe moreso.

This piece is just so *pure*. I love it; the positioning, the posing.

Queen Bee is the focus, raised up and centered. Yet Ladybug could just as easily be seen as the one *raising* her up; a leader and a friend delighted in the growth and ascension of a teammate.

I always imagine that Ladybug for her wings first, and this is Queen Bee's first flight.

The forehead touch, the upper arm grip. it's a level of connection and intimacy that transcends platonic or romantic. It's a beautiful expression of a bond forged over time and trials.

It is an ascension and validation for both characters, and what they've overcome to reach this point.

I love it. Thank you for bringing this into the world.
