i will say that there are scenarios in which an adult may not be allowed to accommodate for themselves or to leave, namely at work. if you're working somewhere in public, there may be loud children there, and your employer likely won't let you just leave, or even wear headphones or earplugs. HOWEVER. this isn't the fault of the children or their parents. this is an issue with your employer specifically and an issue with workplace autonomy and access to accommodation in general. i know it sucks so incredibly bad, i've had many horrible anxiety attacks in that exact situation, but do not place the blame on people with even less power than you.

Also when being bred in captivity(this is done at my work and my job is to teach people about it) to get them to reproduce from the polyp stage of life, we have to intentionally cause them enough stress to reproduce but not enough to harm them. Lately we’ve done that by cleaning their habitat extra well, makes them think the word is ending
