Jeffers, I grabbed you a granola bar, thought you might need it. Ouro should be making actual food sometime though.

Oh....... mm
He looked around somewhat confused
did.... Did I die again?...,, do you think this is-....
"Jeff..? Hey, hey... you aren't dead. I promise, dude." Evan looked concerned, his brows knit together in worry.
"See? I'm right here, would be here if you were dead?"
"......" He was quiet petting at the mimicry of a rabbit that had hopped onto his lap.
" I-..... I don't know....." He looked away from evan focusing on the rabbit.
"...I know this place can get to you but..." Evan trailed off, staring at the damnrd mimic of a rabbit. Habit always kept those damned things around, even worse, Evan had started to see the occasional cat around the house too.
"But trust me, this is all real. I'm real, you're real, Vinny's real. We all are, I promise."
".,.... Its not REAL evan this isn't ........."
He sighed running a hand through his hair tugging at it.
" I'm dreaming again arent I?..... but why wont..."
He huffed his frustration growing as his hands shook.. but still ever so careful with the 'animal'
"I wish it wasn't... I wish this was a dream so badly sometimes." Evan looked away for a brief moment.
"This isn't a dream, not even a nightmare. All of this... it's real, Jeff." He wanted it to be a dream, he couldn't blame Jeff at all. Sometimes he'd think he'd wake up, maybe with Steph sleeping beside him... but that'd never happen.
He was quiet.... He just wanted his brother back...... why ? oh good god why????.....
He stared at the animal in his hand..... He died somehow..... but...,,,?
" I was supposed to-...." He was quiet... feeling his eyes water...
"isnt there anything you can do?... I mean we brought me back why-.. why cant I FIX it..."
He spoke loudly. Processing what evan was talking about..
Why couldn't they save Alex? Why couldn't they save Steph? They brought back one person, what was a few– No. Evan had to stop himself from digging into that rabbit hole. The past was in the past, no use disturbing graves for his own peace.
"...It's– No one is supposed to come back from the dead. Not after something like... that." Evan murmured, his voice quiet and hesitant. "Just you coming back seemed impossible. What if we bring people back only for them to suffer more?"
Death was its own kind of safety, he supposed.
Jeff was quiet .... Evan was right-.... bringing his brother back-....... He sat there quietly ....hmm....
" Then why bring me back?-.... of all people-... Alex should have had that chance not me-..." He was quiet-... he felt guilty for dragging his brother into all of this- he should have stepped out sooner-....
