April 19, 2021 - Monday - 23:00 It's not that I'm counting, but that's all I can do at this moment. I've been confined in a hospital for 3 days and 23 hours now. I never thought we had to announce this beautiful and exciting news this way but anyhow, here we are. Another Baby Ramos is on his/her way! Tadaaaa! But as everyone knows, pregnancy is not always as glamorous and enjoyable as it could be. My two previous pregnancies were also challenging. With Miro, I wasn't taking any vitamins, neither eating at all except for mangosteen (pretty much explains Miro's strength and healthiness). With our second, our little angel Sinag didn't make it inside the sac. And now, with this third pregnancy, I must say, it is worst. Ever. For six weeks now, I've been experiencing Hyperemesis Gravidarum or HG. HG is extreme, persistent nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. It can lead to dehydration, weight loss, and electrolyte imbalances. I've read that out of 1000 preggo women, only 2 to 3 may possibly experience this. I always thought that this is a typical morning sickness on my first trim and will lessen on the following trimester. Thank goodness for pregnancy apps that shows all article about, of course pregnancy. I learned about HG! It's not only me! It is actually a sickness, a case, a worst pregnancy case that is actually not treatable for some, or so for me. I am posting this to inform my family and friends on how I have been doing about my confinement and to actually RAISE AWARENESS ABOUT HG. Again, this not the typical morning sickness, this is a serious case that may be harmful for both mom and baby, and for the dad too. In my condition, this is too much to take in. It is physically, mentally and emotionally draining. And to mention that my husband just came out from his quarantine and we recently lost a very special loved one. All my meds are being injected thru IV, sad to say, I am not feeling any better at this very moment. Still nauseous, and severe gastro issues. But thankfuly vomiting stops. Sharing with you is our now 6-foot Christmas tree; transitioning real quick from our traditional 30-meter tree. This was a hand-me-down, and can't even decide (or buy) what decors to put on. Nahiya 'yung anim na angel decors namin 😅. Surprisingly, this was all Miro's idea, our family pictures 👏, on top is a hand-made Christmas gift from his Manila Waldorf teachers last year ⭐. Merry Christmas bunting is made by yours truly. Swipe to see how we allow Miro to decorate our trees, from thirty meters to six feet. 🤗 Also, we are on our first month in our new place! Still renting, pero kebs lang! Happy happy pa din! 🥳 Speaking of hand-me-downs, would also like to thank the Ramos parentals and fam for our couch , Xmas tree, toaster, side & dining tables, chairs, fridge, which btw, almost twenty yrs old but still works smoothly and perfectly👌 Thanks too, to Taquio fam para sa free services ng hakot-buhat-lipat-gamit 😅.
