Social media usage at such an early age can be hazardous. Children should be outdoors going to play with toys, or even doing something else rather than becoming engrossed in technology. It encourages bad behavior by depriving children of important social cues that they would normally gain knowledge through in-person communication. Being constantly connected to social media is detrimental to your daily life.

Social media has the most sway over the voting population, and it frequently casts them in a negative light. As election season approaches, whether midterm or presidential, including all our references of entertainment feature overtly political advertisements, and I am sure I am not the only one who is sick of seeing them.

My friends use social media in the same way that I do, to share some of the best parts of our lives and stay connected with those around us. A few of my friends are less active on social media. As an example, one of my friends doesn’t use it at all honestly, he told us that he sees no joy in using it he said it’s nothing but drama he tends to only use it to share funny videos. It's fascinating to see how usage of social media varies across generations, as my parents don't use it nearly as frequently as my friends or I, and my grandparents use it even less.

Reading 3-5 chapters should always be read A bunch of the information in the book can be applied towards the project in addition to the Hootsuite modules, I noticed. These few chapters covered how to construct a community using various social media platforms. These sections taught me how effective social media is for businesses.

The 4th Hootsuite module discussed the significance of excellent social advertising across multiple platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. Also, the LinkedIn paid advertisements section piqued my interest because I recommend a LinkedIn social media plan. Since they are without the money for paid advertising, this organization will primarily advertise through itself and word of mouth.

I discovered a lot about my client after finishing Hootsuite module 3 and finishing client project three. I've been working on a social media audit, determining more of my client's goals, and developing a final social media strategy. After going through this module, it eased the stress by explaining each step of the process. A well-developed social media strategy enables us to see metrics and insights that we would not have access to without a well-developed social content strategy.

Ensure the safety of the data and information storage locations If you have your info on Instagram, it will almost certainly be shared. Another way to balance big data's opportunities and threats is for businesses to be transparent and held accountable when data is breached.

Athletes are becoming more than just athletes! They are no longer just athletic superstars; they are cultural icons whose impacts and success on social media sites such as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook have transcended their fields. Today’s athletes have a chance to promote themselves and outside of their fields of expertise.

 Social media nowadays could be good but also bad in a way. For example, a photo or video that you may upload can show others your address and other information that should be classified. I feel today’s world is so caught up in the social media world that they forget about real life situations. People post on social media to show theirselves to the world but not knowing someone can within minutes from a picture that you uploaded on social media. One more thing be cautious of what you post on social media to keep yourself out of harms away of any type of situation. You guys should never get caught up in social media don’t let it make you forget about the real-life things that really matters.  

The most important characteristic of a social media consultant is creativity. A consultant's role is to generate new ideas and complete tasks that the person who hired you was unable to complete. Another would be organization it’s an important trait to have when being a social media consultant because you may have to plan out content. Also a consultant should be picked off of being trustworthy and reliable Communication skills are good for a consultant to have as well because you don’t want your customers to give bad reviews or feel that they aren’t going to get the best customer service.

So far in this class, I've recognized I do a poor job at using social media professionally. However apart from the course, I've haven't used social platforms for a class project, let alone for business. I have accounts on all the major social media platforms. My social media presence is very decent I feel, I tend to be very active on all the current apps in today’s world. As far as my professional social media presence I must get it together and step it up and get out in the business world and promote my merch. I feel that I need to back away from it on the entertainment level and do more on the business side.

This is a serious issue, and I genuinely think it should be investigated by everyone. Things like this could jeopardize your chances of getting the job or lifestyle you desire. It infiltrates our privacy and collects information that can have serious consequences for us as individuals.

Mr. Ceglowski stated in his presentation that when you have enough data, anything is possible. He was basically saying that if you have enough data, you can put anything on the internet. Another thing he mentioned was how we are being watched on a daily basis so that they can collect data on what is being clicked on the most, and so on.

For my social media log assignment, I decided to look at how long I spend on certain applications. I observed my social media usage for a week and seen how much I was on social media. I wasn’t shocked at the numbers that I came up with because I feel that’s all I do. I don’t just be on social media for entertainment, I also use it to startup my business and promoting it. This assignment was very challenging because I use my social media for plethora of things throughout my days. It’s easy for some people but it's very challenging for the ones who use social media for a lot of other things than just for entertainment.

After watching both videos, Louis and Sherry Turkle both had strong opinions about how bad social media is bad for us. They discussed how social media affects our overall comprehension as well as how we react to people, events, and situations. Louis C.K. mentioned a good reason why people text and drive: we may feel lonely, which is a very valid reason. They also discussed how social media is influencing real-life situations. People may be engrossed in their phones, watching a video or making a post, and are unaware of what is going on around them. I'd say I agree with them, but my generation is so focused on the social media world that it’s something us young adults and teens look forward to.

This was very challenging!! I decided to give up social media for the minimum of 3 hours. After doing so I realized how attached I am to social media. I literally had to clean up around the whole house to take my mind off of not being able to use social media. My friends made it even more stressful because I was getting a-lot of messages of videos on social media. I'm currently starting up my own clothing line, so it was alerts coming to my phone from social media about business opportunities. I pushed through it and was able to hold out on social media for the required time. It's not easy especially when you are so familiar with social media.

Fashion Matters! In todays world fashion can tell a story of who a person are or who we want to be faster than other things. Fashion industry is globally valued at $3 trillion. Many people in today’s world connect through fashion, it also relays messages and positivity throughout this world.
