Chocolat Original

The chocolate is so rich and thick.

The yellow complements so much with the brown of the packaging.

Carmen's Best Salted Caramel Milk

For its packaging and volume, it is actually in a good price point.

It has "salted" in its name, but I did not expect it to be so salty. Nevertheless, I liked it! Probably the best out of the flavors of Carmen's Best that I have tried.

Carmen's Best Low Fat Chocolate Milk

Farm Fresh Banana Milk

Quite average. I actually expected that I would not like it so much since banana milks tend to give that strong artificial banana flavor (and even scent sometimes).

The packaging is cute, though.

I actually enjoyed this a bit! I keep buying this from time to time.

For its volume, it had quite a lot of protein.

I bought this in Balai Pandesal, so I don't remember if it came from a specific brand.

I think this was the unsweetened one, so I regret buying this because it had no flavor.

This was so heavy on the stomach.

Unif Fresh Milk

It was so average for its price point. There were a lot of better options for me.

Drank milk everyday – once a day madalas pero ‘di ko na natuloy ‘yong milk review per week (though I still try at least something new every week). Very on brand sa akin and I love drinking it so dadalhin ko ‘to definitely sa 2026

Stopped drinking soft and hard drinks – super daling i-let go nito for me especially alak since I don’t really enjoy alcohol in the first place, so not a challenge. This is a complete stop for both and parang wala naman significant impact sa buhay ko I don’t feel like missing out on anything so keri lang ‘to.

Skin care – medyo mas dedicated na ako sa skin care ko to the point na every month at least may dinadayo ako SM North para magpafacial and nakikita ko naman ‘yong changes sa mukha! So baka i-level up and maintain ko sa 2026 especially I had problems with my itchiness sa legs lang this year (hopefully mawala it gets better)

Started a Pokemon TCG collection – ang OA ng mga kolektor dito puro pera-pera ang bukambibig! Tapos ang hoarder pa nung iba. I will probably stop since puro Milotic cards lang ang gusto kong i-collect talaga.

Ran/jogged/walked for 500+ km – recorded a total run/walk of 784.1 km this year which is a jump from last year. Happy ako na nagawa ko siyang habit na mag jog/walk whenever I had the time, and it never failed to calm me and lift my mood so itutuloy ko ito sa 2026. I LOVED the walking, the running not so much. I’m sorry pero never ko na-gets this year ‘yong idea ng run clubs and getting into these marathons and all…

Watched 5+ movies this year – achievement na ito for me kasi ‘di talaga ako mahilig manood ng pelikula… and the genre I watch ay any any lang. Standout for me this year ang Sunshine starring Maris Racal if everyone is curious! I do wonder though if I have the knack for reviewing movies, or if I am committed enough to watch more to open a letterboxd

Brought back my tumblr – nobody is on tumblr so mas comfortable akong magshare ng ideas ko ‘don haha. Aside from the SSKK and the AOE art, I feel happy writing my stream of consciousness there reviewing stuff so I probably should keep it more alive sa 2026 (na-busy kasi sa thesis charot).

Read 10+ books – mamaya ko pa titignan kung ilan nabasa ko talaga in total this year. Mostly poetry books, light novels and compilation of short stories pero it gave me a break from the usual academic stuff that I always do. Naredevelop this year ‘yong reading habit ko definitely, like hinahanap ko na siya every day! Dapat siguro magreview ako ng poetry books and pumili ako ng mga favorite poems ko.

Graduated MS and started PhD – masaya naman ako for this development in my career pero nakakakaba. I felt like everything is going so fast kahit ang layo pa ng mga bagay-bagay! Pero I definitely enjoy the learning that goes with it. (demure lang ang reflection haha)

Attended a math conference and traveled outside Manila – second lipad ko ng plane ever (and first na ako gumastos haha) itong MSP 2025 sa Zamboanga. Fulfilling na nakapagpresent ako so sana maulit sa 2026.

Bestsoy

Out of the chocolate-flavored soya milk I have tasted, this one has the most apparent soya milk flavor.

A little bit too pricey for me

I did not like the aftertaste.

EP 13: Dream to MARS

Choc-O

No straw, so I drank it straight from the tetra pack.

The chocolate is rich and you can tell that it is locally made.

The vibe and taste is quite nostalgic.

my cousin gave it to me so it was free!

Cowhead Premium Chocolate Milk

I love this shade of brown and this packaging is classic.

The chocolate is rich and smooth for me for some reason.

It is also quite cheaper than some of my recent reviewed milk

Almond Breeze

The blue and brown in the packaging is nice.

I do not care too much about this having a cap instead of a straw.

The chocolate flavor was rich but I do not really get the almond milk vibe here.

This is also pricey.

Binggrae Banana

The packaging was nice; I love this shade of yellow.

A bit too pricey for me

This was too sweet compared to the Selecta one. The banana flavor also felt so artificial.

EP 8: Arcade Air Hockey

Oishi Choco Chug

I don't know if I was just delusional but there were oat bits here when I drank it.

The texture is actually quite different nevertheless.

Packaging is nice but I think it is more enjoyable if it was in a carton.

Not too pricey as well.
