My heart became a little heavier tonight after hearing that an old, childhood friend passed away earlier today. When I hear of news like this, there's that realization that what we stress out about isn't even half as worrisome as what others should and could be worried about. There's that realization that it's all about keeping an open mind and an open heart in every situation. There's that realization that every person who crosses your path of life, even once, can place the tiniest impact on your heart; maybe not now, but one day. And there's that realization that the clichéd expression is really true: living a great life doesn't mean having a long one, LIVING the life is what makes it meaningful. He did that.
