I was also dubious about the number of teams but it feels more like a WORLD cup right now and I enjoy it. It's a once every 4 years event and we can appreciate more teams having their moment. Just like during the Olympics. Upsets, surprises, a chance to go forward... The world cup is always surprising but more teams means more countries have a chance to surprise us, instead of being cut off at the qualifiers.
