History:

The Taiwan Excellence campaign started as part of the Ministry of Economic Affair’s (MOEA) 5 year plan in the 1980’s to raise Taiwan’s international competitiveness by supporting its local brands. Under the Image Enhancement Plan, the Taiwan Excellence Award campaign was established in 1992.  The “Taiwan Excellence” was awarded to products based on R&D, design, quality, and marketing efforts. If selected, the brands and products were allowed to use the Taiwan Excellence Seal locally and internationally. 

Taiwan Excellence is now here in the Philippines!

              People today have different sources and access to more gadgets and products all around the world. But it takes guaranteed high quality imported goods to know the best among the rest. Taiwan Excellence is a campaign that recognizes high-quality Taiwanese brands, guaranteeing their superior quality and value. All Taiwanese brands took part in this campaign and only ten among the selected winners will be awarded with the Gold Award, the highest recognition among the brands.

With the theme “Excellent Lifestyle”, It will enable Filipinos to recognize the quality products Taiwan has to offer and be able to live an excellent lifestyle and enjoy their shopping experience. World famous Taiwan Excellence brands such as Acer, Asus, BenQ, Transcend, TECO, Tatung, HCG, KYMCO and SYM, among others, will feature their newest products at the Taiwan Excellence Pavillion where there will also be activities such as product demos, brand presentations, games, and lucky draws.

I'm personally using their gadgets and i must say it really is a great deal. I've been using my laptop for many years now and it's still working great. Here are other gadgets I have my eyes on.
