Jay Cue is one of the first artists I ever fucked with in terms of underground rap, and is either the first or second dude I ever followed on the IH Twitter. I remember BigCat in the creative section of OddFutureTalk.com back in like 2011, and now he’s helping out with the majority of the mixing on my biggest compilation to date. Basically, these two guys are the motherfuckin’ homies, and they also happen to make some of the dopest, most unique, and underrated music on the interwebs right now. Check it out.

Jay Cue’s jazzy cut off “Digital Flowerings Vol. 2″ finally gets an official visual courtesy of Hidden Behind Leaves & Tara Byars. This one always stood out as a sleeper favorite from the compilation due to it’s refusal to conform to current rapping and production style trends, and the project was much better off for it. We can always leave it to Jay Cue and NRK to bring a little sub-genre diversity to this trap-filled scene.
