If you’re angry about news that DC fired Gretchen Felker-Martin and the cancelling and pulling of Red Hood 2025 (as you should be), let’s do something about it:
I saw some people suggesting a total boycott, but a boycott without a target or messaging isn’t effective. So here’s what we should do:
Send a physical message to DC Comics, whether that’s an email, a phone call, or a physical letter, and talk about how their actions in this matter have greatly disappointed you as a fan and as a consumer, and how Gretchen Felker-Martin needs to be rehired and Red Hood needs to be put back on the shelves.
Be stern and forward but not aggressive. They don’t listen to letters with hateful messaging and it won’t do anything but piss them off.

If DC receives enough backlash for this decision (which they should) this could send a hugely important message that transphobia will not be tolerated in this community.
Comic book fans pretty much have the option of getting these books for free (there are so many sites out there that let you read these comics for free). The only reason we buy these books is because we care about this community and want to keep the industry going. But if they don’t care about us, then we won’t give them our business.
