welcome aboard, JACKSON “JAX” WINCHESTER, STUDENT #8. we are excited to set sail with you ! has anyone told you that you look like DACRE MONTGOMERY? according to our records, you hail from BOSTON, MASSACHUSETTS, prefer HE/HIM, are MALE, and are here to study CREATIVE WRITING AND LITERATURE. we also see you received a spot on the ss university because of your ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIP — we won’t tell anyone. during your first few weeks here, other students said you were + CHARISMATIC, + CREATIVE, but also - ARROGANT. it sounds like you spend most of your time at the LIBRARY. upon checking your luggage, we noticed you packed A POETRY BOOK. hopefully your roommates don’t steal it!

Fable was wearing the knitted cover up over her swim suit as she stood next to Jax turning her head to look at him. “Well it was on your bucket list to swim with dolphins, I thought this would be the closest we would get for now.” She replied with a smile. “I wouldn’t miss a chance to swim with them if it mean crossing off something else off our list of things to do.” She spoke with a light laugh. 

“Yes, Fable, to swim with Dolphins, these are nowhere near dolphins. Like the statistics on sea lions-you know they eat penguins right? Penguins... cute.. helpless penguins.. and these guys eat them for dinner. What’s stopping them from biting me? I didn’t think this all the way through.” He spoke with a laugh as he moved closer to where he would inevitably be face to face with the creatures. “Okay, lets do this.” He spoke as he reached his hand out to her. “I’m not taking the first step alone.”

“Thanks for being cool with it.” Rosie let out a sigh of relief. The eraser side of her pencil tapped a couple of times on her paper. “What were you reading?” She asked, selfishly trying to gain some kind of inspiration.

“There’s no reason not to be cool with it.” He spoke as he stood up from his seat to move closer to the female, taking the empty chair directly across from her as he dropped his book on the table. “Hamlet actually, a great read from time to time.”

“I can’t wait.” She replied as she smiled more to herself. “Old cinema is some of the best. I’m sure their are a few old romances I could make us a marathon over. I get most of my daydreams from them.” She spoke up after him watching him reach into his back pocket before flicking her eyes upward letting her mind ponder her own thoughts. “Notebooks are always great on hand.” She stated before hearing the other part. “And what would that be?” Fable asked with interest hearing him speak once more smiling. “So honest and charming.” She said before biting her lip once again as his eyes looked her over. “You’re the kind of man I’ld let drive my mind wild.” She spoke leaning up on the tips of her toes to whisper into his ear. 

“I will tell you that I am okay having a marathon of old romance films with you. That kind of creativity is what fuels the soul and the mind.” He spoke as he looked down to flip through the pages of his notebook before he looked back up to her, letting another smirk pull across his lips at her question. “I am thinking Valentine might be a good title for it. I’ll let you read it when It’s finished, or maybe I’ll even read it to you.” He added as he pulled out his pen and started to write in his notebook, still keeping his attention on Fable the best he could. When she leaned close to his ear, he all but dropped his notebook, thanking whoever for his fast reflexes he was able to catch it. “Well, aren’t you just as charming. I would have no objections to driving your mind wild.” Jax spoke as he moved his hand, placing it lightly on her arm as he looked at her. “Possibly make it so I’m all you can think about. Creep into every corner of your mind, you’d almost have to write about me.”

“I couldn’t agree with you more.” Fable replied with a nod of her head. “It would be quite the adventure.” She responded with a soft smile gazing at him. “The one and only. One of my all time favorite classics, and you just so happen to know my favorite line.” She stated biting her lip as she continued to look over at Jax. Who was he? She wondered admiring his love for writing like she. “Only if you lend me a few of those poems of yours to read.” She countered standing tall her eyes meeting his. “So you wouldn’t need my number then.” She spoke resting her hand on his arm as a small smirk toyed on the brunettes lips. 

“Then it’s set, at some point, you and I are swimming with Dolphins.” Jax smirked. “I feel there’s a lot of films you and I are going to have in common.” Reaching into his back pocket, Jax pulled out a small notebook, it was the one that he so often kept tucked away for when the random moments hit where he needed to write something down. “I have a few that I carry with me, though I think I have an idea for a new one right now.” Jax spoke truthfully as he fixed his gaze directly on her. “I wouldn’t be against getting your number, I also wouldn’t be against searching for you when I wanted to see you. Your number is just convenient,” He replied as he took just a few seconds to look over her, eyes drifting from head to toe and back again. “You’re the kind of woman I’d lose sleep over.” He admitted.

“As to be expected. I know mine are in a vault drowned out somewhere in my mind.” She replied with a light laugh along with him. “Sounds like we ought to book two tickets to the nearest sea world.” She teased swaying softly as she watched him pull her phone from his pocket. “You don’t perhaps like Johnny and Baby?” She asked. “I give you praise for that. Writing is an art and it’s one of the best outlets that are open to us. Poetry is beautiful. I have an imagination for days that could spill over the likes of thousands of pages.” She spoke looking up at him before laughing softly. “Thank you, it saved you the trouble of accidentally still having it and coming to find me later.” 

“As long as they’re still in there, they make you who you are.” He spoke as he once again leaned back against the rail. “if you want to go to sea world and join me in a dolphin swim then I say you have yourself a deal.” He smirked softly. “Are you talking Patrick Swayze Johnny and Baby? Because if we are then yes, it was one of the greatest films of all times and I will still use the line ‘no one puts baby in the corner’” He added before his attention was peaked listening to her talk about writing. He was passionate about it and to have someone that took it as serious as he did? It was a great feeling. “You should let me read some of your stuff some day, I’m sure you have things laying around.” He spoke before he shook his head and pushed off the rail to move closer to her. “Well, I didn’t think I would need an excuse to come find you later.. figured I can just see you if I want to, no excuse needed. It’s better to be up front anyway, though it’s cute you think I would find an excuse to look for you.”

“It’s hard to lose, some memories tend to bury deeper than those of others.” She said in turn with a smile. “That has got to be one of the greatest things in the world to want to do.” She spoke in admiration looking at him. “I do. I am a literature major. I am hoping to write a novel while I spend my time here.” 

“Oh the ones that are deeper than the others are certainly there for a reason.” Jax laughed. “Who doesn’t want to swim with dolphins? It’s the greatest thing ever and I will do it before I kick the bucket.” He spoke as he reached into his pocket and grabbed out her phone, he’d completely forgotten until that moment that she asked him to hold it. “Well, we seem to have a lot more in common than our love for Jack and Rose. I’m a Creative writing and Literature major. Not so much a novel though, more poetry for me.”  He spoke as he handed her back her phone. “you might need this eventually.”

“Stored away in your memory, it’s such a good place to store things.” Fable responded with a nod. “What would be another thing you want to cross off it while you are here?” She asked looking over at him. “Oh yes, it’s all about taking those risks.” She replied. “It’s great to know there’s another writer out there.” 

“I don’t lose it when it’s stored in my mind, and it’s easily changed.” He spoke with just a small shrug of his shoulders. “I don’t know. I would probably want to swim with Dolphins, it sounds cheesy but I never got the chance to do that.” He laughed at how silly his own idea sounded, but it was better to be honest no matter how foolish. “You write too? What do you write?”

“Looks like we should compare what we share on those list eventually.” Fable replied as watched him look before he spoke. “It’s all about the confidence. My ideal version of me auditioning for Rose consists on me marching up to the director and telling him Jack will not die, Rose will share the door, and they live happily ever after.” She spoke. “So you said something about writing, you write? 

“I don’t keep a physical list, but I’m pretty sure if I did I know what would be on it.” Jax spoke with a laugh. It was always a bit of fun when he would think about his bucket list, some things he had on there he knew was just crazy but there were things he knew were only logical, or so they would be to him. “Okay, I like that kind of confidence, just go right after the most controversial scene in the whole film. I like it.” He laughed. “I do, I dabble a little here and there.”

“We need to go get a drink to toast to that. Mark it off our bucket lists.” Fable responded as she watched him lean against the rail. Hearing him speak of Jack she stopped spinning. “You’re not joking with me are you?” She asked looking him over. “I think would cast you. You certainly suit Mr. Dawson.” She replied with a smiled. “I normally say what comes to my mind.” 

“I believe that sounds great, I would love to get a drink. One thing off the bucket list and only a million more to go.” He laughed as he took just a brief second to look around. He shook his head “No, I’m not joking, I may have the look as you so eloquently put it, but the talent is far from there.” He really had very little faith in himself to do anything other than write. “I can see that.”

“I love being on board, it was always a dream of me to study on the seas.” Fable replied looking at him with another smile. “One of my favorites films. If they were to make a remake I will audition for Rose with no hesitation.” She stated as she stepped up on her the tips of her toes to spin. “Our biggest fantasy are those we make our life.” 

“It’s nice to get a chance to do this that’s for sure, I always thought it was cool thing, never thought I would get the chance to do it.” Jax spoke as he moved to lean his back against the rail, his gaze remaining on the female. “I think I’d like to be Jack in that film, but I’m pretty sure I’m a shitty actor.” He laughed with just a small shake of his head. “I don’t think I’ve ever heard that one before, I think I should write that down.”

“Okay but what if those little ghost children sang you to sleep every night in exchange for being on the ship? I mean that sounds like a fair trade to me. Wouldn’t you just get used to them at some point? I mean surely you would.”

“Yeah, no, I would never get used to it. There’s things that I can handle, but to hear that every single night? I think it would drive me absolutely insane. You mean you’d get used to something like that?”

“Well, it is nice to breath the fresh air.” Fable replied looking over at him. “The ship provides plenty of that.” She stated. “You wouldn’t mind holding my phone for me while I spin a couple times?” She asked.

“I will agree with that, the fresh air is really nice.” He spoke as he lifted his hand to run fingers through his hair. “Oh, sure, yeah.” He reached his hand out and took her phone, tucking it into his back pocket. “Spin away, just don’t fall over, I’d hate to make this a Titanic moment.”

Rosie found herself zoning out at her table in the library with her sketch pad in front of her way, waiting for inspiration to strike in her head. That was until she caught herself staring at someone and them looking at her. Her cheeks instantly warming to shade of pink. “Sorry, I zoned out… didn’t mean to stare.” @seasstarts​​

Jax looked up from the book in his hand the moment he felt the burning eyes, a small, almost silent laugh passing his lips when he notice the female had been staring at him. He closed the book, placing it on the table in front of him as he fixed his gaze on her. The smile on his face only grew and he gave a small shrug when she finally acknowledged her own staring. “It’s okay, you want to stare then stare I have no problem with it at all.”

“How amazing is it to back home. The hotel was fun, I enjoyed the detour, but it’s nice to be back on the ship surround with all you great people.” Fable said as she spun around looking at the world around her. “Home sweet home.” She breathed out as her head was hung back enjoying the breeze around her. “I say this truly calls for a small dance party, would you like to join me?”

“You are a little to excited to be back here, I’ll tell you that. Yeah, this place it great but you make it sound like heaven.” Jax laughed as he watched the female closely. “Oh no, no, I don’t dance, like... ever so I think you’re on your own with this one.”

​“You looked bored.” It was bluntly spoken, though a smirk toyed at Celeste’s lips. She was feeling generous at the moment and decided to share the wealth. “Wanna play with my Switch?” she asked, fishing the Nintendo portable system from her bag and offering it to them. “Unless there’s something else you’d rather do? I’m all ears.”

“I think that’s an understatement.” Jax spoke as he tucked the small book into his back pocket. “Well, that would depend on what game you have in here.” He responded as he reached out and took the game system from her, instantly turning it on. “I there was something else I would rather be doing, I wouldn’t be sitting here looking bored.”
