There's a long pause before the door finally opens. Leon looks like he hasn't properly slept, or remembered to eat, in far too long. His hair is a mess, his shirt is wrinkled, and his phone is still in his hand, the screen lit with Ada's last message.

He blinks at the thermos, seemingly taking a second to understand why Chris is standing there.

"...Soup?"

His stomach gives an embarrassingly loud growl.

Leon looks down at himself, then lets out a quiet, defeated laugh.

"...Right. Guess I forgot about food."

He steps aside to let Chris in, glancing at his phone again almost immediately.

"Sorry. I've been... distracted."

He rubs his tired eyes.

"Been thinking about Ada. Haven't really been thinking about much else."

He looks at the thermos again, expression softening.

"...Thanks, Chris."

After a moment, quieter:

Shhhhhhhhhh…..

*hands over a cup of chamomile tea and some melatonin*
