Male idols can take off their shirts, dry hump the stage and do body rolls but as soon as a female idol wears something that shows a little bit of her ass. She gets slammed and called a slut. Why is it okay for male idols to be sexy but female idols are only supposed to be cute and covered up?

Hyolyn got slammed for performing in a “raunchy” outfit at an award show but the outfit only showed a bit of her ass. Which is nothing compared to what many western female celebrities wear. If a male idol can perform shirtless with a ton of sexual body movements, than female idols should be able to do the same. I hate this double standard in kpop.
