as ive caught up to all the hc11 bdubs episodes released so far , heres them all together with the accompanying ref images :) honestly having a little low commitment project like this has been really fun and im excited to keep it up for the rest of the season, especially now that im just waiting on new episodes to be released

(as a debrief for those that havent seen my first post - this lil series is me taking the last shot bdubs shows at the end of his hermitcraft s11 episodes, and redrawing them w a 30 minute timer. theyre intended to be loose and imperfect , as theyre moreso just to let me practice my traditional landscape painting process in digital format ^^ )

I love how much personality your Bdubs always has!!!!!!!!! I love that he's not just entirely horse or moss, but an actual person. Even when you include them those details just feel like natural extensions of him instead of gimmicks. I think you've said before that there are a lot of headcanons you have that don't really come up in your art. If you feel like sharing, are there any that are really important in how you see his character? I'm so interested in what else you have in mind.

as for other headcanons,,thats a hard one wowie,, a simple one is what typa creautre my bdubs actually is jksnfs. i like thinking of him as partially syrian onager, or if we're sticking to strictly minecraft mobs, partially donkey/mule. very much Not horse. i started out with him being 100% human, and i still sometimes draw him as such. but i think if he was to be mixed with another creature - and it was an equine - it would not be a horse, But something mistakenly close especially from ppl that dont know him well. i cant exactly explain why, but i think the idea of him trying to put up the facade of being smth while actually being smth else (even if the difference is not that big) is just like. very much him. also a lot of the stuff we know about the syrian onager just made me think of bdubs so . there we go

and as a bonus character trait. ive had the idea in my head that hes maybe a teeny tiny (a lot) agoraphobic . this one is very dear to my heart

maybe i will try to draw smth that involves these specific details cause i really do have a lot of thoughts about them but ah . i am so bad at writing LOL

sometimes theres a shadow in the forest, darker than the rest, resembling a horse. and sometimes you'll find a man mumbling towards it

after climb10's ghost brought cleo from exile i liked the idea of bdubs horses, especially those that were exceptionally important/doted on, existing on in some sorta ghostly form . lulu actually was possessing that pig keralis gave him, mi amore stayed wandering around the horse head rock/church watching over the other horses, etc. climb 1 (shown here) follows behind every new climb, pitch black in shadow except for her mane, which flows like water and glistens ever so slightly when the sunlight hits it just right

#jamtam(sketch)art #jamtam(fan)art #bdubs fanart #her mane is like water cause bdubs mentioned she died from drowning iirc #lulu (separate from the pig) is bright white like the sun. with stars and flames almost bursting from her #shes like that to mimic the moon and stars that bdubs built his life around that season. as well as it being the thing that killed her #climb 10 mostly resembles a normal horse (having come back in a rideable state) but her new coat shines abnormally bright #and her white spots almost slip off her. producing wisps around her that almost look like smoke #i like the fact that even tho says he cares a lot about his horses a lot of them still do die in preventable ways #and i like the idea that it kinda figuratively and literally haunts him #the more important/cared for they were to him the more in present their spirits are around him #im sorry i couldnt help you. i will try to give the others a better life
