ACEOs and Other Art

Anurognathus was a roughly bat-sized pterosaur. Short snout, wide mouth, big eyes, and, like its larger relatives, covered in fuzz. There are many artistic recreations showing them in flight, walking, sitting, and generally looking cuter than some of the most tightly designed pieces of Pokemon merch sales bait. Look at the ones with whiskers and try not to react audibly. I dare you. However, none of them show one using that wide mouth to do a big chomp. This is me doing my part to remedy this terrible oversight.

Pom Pom crabs have evolved a symbiotic relationship with certain anemone in which the crab uses the anemone like a taser crossed with a boxing glove.

When I learn such things I am obligated, per a private contract with eldritch powers, to draw it at least once with the worst pun title I can summon. Now it's your problem. Always be careful what you sign.

I love that among the famous extinct animals of the Ice Age, like Elephant but Furry, Rhino but Furry, Big Cat Bigger Teeth, Larger Wolf, is Weird Tree Thing Famous For Being Slow but HUGE. All these creatures named shit like Woolly Mammoth, Dire Wolf, and Saber Toothed Tiger with equally dangerous modern relatives and then you get the Ground Sloth. On the list of notable features someone decided 'spent more time on ground than in trees' ranked higher than 'fucking MASSIVE, literally ELEPHANT sized, sloth'. When I was a child reading outdated paleontilogical picture books, fuzzy elephant was cool but van-sized sloth with claws like short swords re-framed my understanding of nature
