Accessibility in my game
The game is easily accessible as it only involves moving, jumping, and grabbing cubes. The WASD keys allow the player to move, the space button is to jump and holding left click is to pick up the cubes.

Triangle Circle Square Shape Language
Triangle Circle and Square can represent the characteristics of characters in games. The shapes represent specific personalities in each character.
Circle represents characters who are often seen as approachable, cute, friendly, and harmless. They usually have a circular body shape and are usually used in protagonists, maternal caregivers, young children, and pets., This helps the audience know that these characters are trustworthy.
Square represents characters who are strong, sturdy, reliable, supportive, and stubborn. The design of the character usually has a square-like body. This shape is also seen in protagonists, paternal caregivers, protectors, and any other characters that provide a supportive role.
Triangle represents characters with the trait completely opposite to circle. They are used to show characters which are dangerous, evil, unpredictable, and smart. Triangles are known to show the most malice and aggression. They are mostly used in antagonist character designs.

What I did today
Today I added a level 6 which has a room as big as level 5 but it has 3 sections and instead of trying to get 4 cubes the players have to bring one cube with them to the end of the level. I also added numbers into the levels with actors and duplicating them.
Level Numbers
I have decided that the levels in my game needed numbers in them so the player can remember what level they are on. First I made an actor and put a cube in there and reshaped it and retextured it, then I put a text in and made it the number "1"
Then for the next level I duplicated the blueprint and only replaced the number 1 with 2 and continued to do that making a 3, 4, 5 and 6.

Building the map #4 - Level 6
I have decided to do another long level which I have decided to be in 3 sections. The players have to pass each section while carrying the cube to the end of the level, if the player doesn't realize from the beginning they can go back to get the cube. The first section requires the players to have one player stand on the platform while the other player presses the pressure plate to push them up and then they can press the pressure plate at the top to let the other player up.
They can also just use the cube so both get up at once but then they cant get out the exit. The second section requires one of the players to stand on the first platform and the other player has to press the pressure plate to raise them. Then they can jump to the other platform so the other player can let them up. There are buttons at the top so they can let the other player up so they are both up.
The third and final section requires the players to have one player press the pressure plate to open the door while the other player goes onto the moving platform and goes to the other side then they press the first pressure plate which opens the door so that the other player can go onto the moving platform too. If the players fall there is a ramp for them to get back up. Finally, to pass the level the players must put the cube on the final pressure plate. If they do not have a cube because they used it on a previous level, they must go back to get it.
Target for Week 4
This week I want to make significant progress on the map in the game and hopefully finishing it. I also want to add it to the other person's game so the game can have the pickup mechanics for the cubes and it will be first person.

What I did Today
Today I changed the materials to my objects so they fit in with the theme of my game. Then I finished level 5 which involves having to try to get 4 cubes to beat the level, and each cube can only be collected in a specific order as the each cube needs the previous ones to get.
Building the Map #3 - Level 5
I wanted level 5 to have 4 cubes the players need to get to open the door, and I wanted the player to get one cube then use that to get the next and now they have two cubes so they use them both for the next one. Then they have three and use them to get a fourth cube which then they can open the door. The first cube one player has to stand on the button and stay there so the platform goes up and the other player can get the cube.
The next cube requires one player to put the cube near a platform which can't be reached without one then they have to press the pressure plate which opens a door and it drops another cube
For the third cube the players must put the two cubes they have on two separate plates then they have to press on the other two which then activates a piston which pushes the cube off an elevated platform
Finally to get the fourth cube the players must put three cubes on the buttons and one person has to stay on the last button while the other player gets the last cube
Then finally when they have all four they can press the last four pressure plates to open the door

Changing Materials
I have been using the default textures for the objects. I have decided to use Unreal Engine's built in textures and changed them to make them look less bland and fit the theme to my game. I changed the materials for the pressure plate, the opening door, the moving platform, the rising platform, the walls, roof and floor.

What I did today
Today I made a third and fourth level and made a new cube for the game. I then also started on the fifth level and made a rising platform for it.
Rising Platform in Unreal Engine
For my next puzzle, I want there to be a platform that rises when a player steps on the pressure plate so that the other player can get to the cube at the top. First I used the same nodes I used for the door but changed the timeline so it goes up instead of sideways
I then also made new events for the platform and put them in the . pressure plate blueprint. Then I made a static mesh and changed its shape and tested it in-game
New Cube in Unreal Engine
I put the cube that I made into Unreal Engine and changed the materials to make it look like metal and that it emits light from the blue bits.
The blue material is the pattern on it and the white material is the cube itself. Then it made this
It now looks like it's more metal and seems brighter. I didn't think it was bright enough, so I made an actor and put a static mesh and replaced it with the cube, then I put a point light in then set the color to the exact same as the pattern and made the attenuation radius 200, this is it in game before and after I did this

New Cube in Maya
For the game I decided to make a new cube that isn't the default texture and I wanted to make an original one in Maya and try to make it fit in the map.
This is the cube in Maya, the blue lines are going to have light emitting from them in Unreal Engine. I will also try to make it look more shiny like it's metal.
Building the map #2 - Level 3 and 4
In my game I have added another 2 levels. They both require the player to press the pressure plate again, but I did make them different. The third level includes two cubes and one pressure plate. One of the cubes is on an unreachable platform so the player has to use the cube on the floor to get to the other cube then move one of them to the side of the other platform to get up to the pressure plate where the player will place the cube on the button
The next level involves a moving platform, a cube and one pressure plate. The player just has to get the cube, get on the moving platform and put it on the plate
I will be changing what the cubes look like and make them emit light so the player can see it. The levels can properly be tested when I pass the project to the other person in the group project since he has the object picking up mechanic and that's what's in mind while I'm making these. The next levels will need both players to beat.
