I think Sirius's body hair is very thin and fine, almost unnoticeable except for his happy trail. Remus first sees it when Sirius stretches and his shirt rises. It leaves him DROOLING. Once Sirius realizes the effect it had on Remus, he started wearing crop tops.
On the other hand of that Remus is HAIRY. Like the man's chest is covered. Sirius couldn't care less he just wants to kiss him all over.
I think in a modern au Remus had always been a dry texter. Always "Ok" or "👍". The most anyone would get from him would be "sounds good" he didn't think of this as rude, not even when Sirius started flirting with him over text. Sometimes he'd heart react it, but other than that he kept his usual responses, even when his face was so red it was hot to the touch from the things the screen said in front of him. That is, until he learned that his short, dry, texts were causing Sirius to overthink, even sometimes making him feel unwanted and sad. Ever since Remus makes an effort to send full engaging texts, he gets better at it over time, but he still always uses perfect grammar.
Sirius used to hate the idea of being called baby, never let anyone do it, until Remus. Now when Remus calls him that, he melts.
When Remus was still too self conscious to use his cane, Sirius noticed and immediately let Remus lean on him. He always rushed to be next to Remus whenever they went down or up any stairs. He also shrunk moonys cane just in case he changed his mind later.
Remus always feels cold, but physically, when someone else touches him, he's hot. Sirius on the other hand always feels cold and is always cold. Even before they were together Sirius would always cling to Remus, especially when he was reading. The first time they shared a bed was when Sirius had a nightmare and due to Remus's furry little problem he heard the whimpers. He went over to Sirius bed and asked if there was anything he could do. All he got in response was a quiet "stay". Sirius clung to Remus and had never felt so warm. They both relished in the warmth of the other and made sharing a bed a routine. Remus felt a little guilty for cuddling with Sirius when he thought his feelings weren't reciprocated but that didn't last long.
One of the times they were cuddling, before they got together, Sirius face ended up in Remus neck. Before he realized what he was doing, he kissed his neck. He couldn't help himself. Immediately he started blushing, hoping Remus didn't notice, but he heard Remus breath startle and knew better. Remus of course, felt it but convinced himself that he was wrong and it didn't happen, or if it did happen then Sirius must've been asleep and didn't mean to. After they finally get together Remus recieves many neck kisses (ones that aren't hidden)
Sirius mumbles in his sleep. Remus LOVES it.
I think in an au for Remus loses sight in one of his eyes, and it turns white, he's super insecure about it at first, always trying to hide it. When Sirius finally convinces Remus to show him, he's amazed. "It looks like the moon". Sirius hates what the full moon does to Remus but God has he always loved the moon. Always thought it accompanied the stars.
Remus hates missing classes. If he can physically go to class the day after a full moon, he does, even if it'd be smarter to rest. Despite his determination, his body is still exhausted and hes barely present those days. Whether Remus is there or not, Sirius is always taking his notes. Sirius doesn't usually even take his own notes, despite his lack of effort in school he still manages great marks. But he knows Remus cares about school and knows he'd go crazy without notes so he's diligent and a perfect student on those days. When Remus is able to be there, he still insists on taking Remus's notes for him, knowing the chances of Remus falling asleep on his shoulder 10 minutes into class.
Remus wakes Sirius up with kisses spreading from his cheeks to his lips to his jaw to his neck. Sirius wakes Remus up by running his hand through his hair, scratching slightly, and mumbling good mornings.
I am a big taller Remus shorter Sirius defender. That said I don't always think Sirius is necessarily short. I just think Remus is a giant. He's freakishly tall and very lean. He hates being tall, thinks it makes him stand out, thinks he's unable to blend in. But when he gets with Sirius, he loves his height advantage. Loves trapping Sirius against a wall, lifting him up, etc.
