Double proposal//Lewers

Patrick shrugged. âSometimes the teasing gets under my skin, and I donât like it.â He said. Patrick went back to the table and finished his glass of soda. âThat wasnât so bad after all.â He smiled. âIâm kinfd of surprised you brought me to a karaoke bar⌠We have never been to one before. I had no idea you enjoyed that much.â He smiled lightly.
James pouted. âIt shouldnât-âcause itâs harmless. I wouldnât push you strip-dance here or anywhereâ, he made a pause. âI was just jokingâ.
James finished his drink and he felt slowly relaxing, but feeling equally bad that he didnât manage to propose. He smiled lightly to Patrick. âI always wanted to take you to a karaoke bar-but we were either busy...Or in college and after, when we met, I actually had some sort of social anxiety and...I couldnât just stand in the crowd to talk or sing. But, with time and in work, I saw that I can do it...and I love to sing, so...â, he shrugged. He leaned closer to him on the table âYou need to cut yourself some slack-I think you could have sung âAngelsâ better than meâ, he smiled. âConsidering the perfect bathroom acoustics and what Iâve heard nowâ, he smiled even wider and raised his finger, in a eureka kind of moment. âAnd you know what...I have an idea to add to our things we can do together: from tomorrow, you can give me some sort of list of songs you like and you want to learn to sing. I can see which ones I can play in the piano-if I donât, I will learn to play them and...Iâm gonna boost your confidence while you sing themâ, he said excitedly.
