Waking up due to the strong rays hitting into his space, Jae sleepily takes a few seconds to register that there’s someone beside him. Someone who was always welcome, someone who he loved. Brown hues admire her features, carefully scanning in the order of eyes, lashline, nose, lips, and everywhere else that was visible. He pulls her bare body (due to the activity from the night before) closer to his, naturally pressing his lips right up against her soft skin right below where her hairline started.

He practically hisses at her at the mention of connections. “If I can do it for free, why wouldn't I?” he retorts. “And even if I do have connections, it doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll help me out. everyone is watching out for themselves in the end.” With so many eyes on him because of his father, he wouldn’t dare to ask anyone at the office for favors- they would think he’s social climbing. The standards for him was way above anyone else working there. “Lee Je Hoon.. Is Lee Je Hoon. I’m Song Jaehyun. we’ve got different vibes and different images! Isn’t that the basic stuff? I’d prefer an outfit with a focal point. Accessorize with what? What are those things called?? ”he refers to his neck, rolling his eyes upwards to think. “Right. A choker!”

“What are your plans after you graduate?” Jaehyun asks sincerely, waiting for a response. It was a question that almost every student dreaded; no one  really has a set plan for the future since things could always happen. “Have you ever thought about working for a big corporation?”

“Noona! Your new song is seriously so catchy-” He sets down the tray, giving the older her drink before taking a seat in front of her. Rookie was something refreshing- and it  didn’t help it that he was such a big fan. He practically knew each word and he was so proud of it. “I bust out humming it in the office.”

“Y’know I just said what I had to say.. If I didn’t say it, someone else would have. I don’t see what the big deal is. Being truthful to someone that looks stupid is the best thing you could do. I’m pretty sure they’re being biased just because i’m the  newest addition to the team...”

“yah- how can you take everything that I say seriously?” He nudges her playfully with a  wide grin plastered onto the male’s face. “Your shoot went extremely well and I’m pretty sure that the other’s are gonna have a great time editing your pictures since there isn't  much touching up to do.”

“that movie was horrible. Why did I let you talk me into watching it in the first place... the trailer pretty much exposed all the important parts of the moive..” Jae sighs, walking about of the theater, holding the door for the other. “Next time, we’re watching  a movie that I want to see.”

“ please tell me you’re joking because I swear I just saw the ad for that yesterday on tv- there’s no way that the party would already be sold out, right? I was planning to get a few tickets for a few friends... shit.” he curses under his breath, slightly worried about the shift of plans. 

It hasn’t been that long since he’s started as an editor- and pretty much everyone in the office knows that he got in through connections; he’s in dilemma to what to turn to. The female was right, it’s not like he wasn’t qualified: he went to school, got field experience, and he’s passionate at what he does. But he was still afraid of what the others were going to say. Seniority was important at the office and him, being the youngest and newest, it was going to take a lot of courage and effort. “Do you want to see me get yelled at by the chief again? He gives me enough to work with.. Noona, please?” he asks, practically raising his tone to show his sincerity. “This will be the last time , I promise.”
