Hey #RipCity there’s a great story behind this photo! This was taken on Mar 24, 2019 at The Nines Luxury Hotel in Portland, OR when Turner was a Portland Trail Blazer. Portland was about to head into the Western Conf Final & playoffs were ahead. Portland played the Brooklyn Nets the night after this shoot, (the night Nurkic had his terrible injury—>no more of that!)
so the Nets were flying into Portland that night & those PURPLE SILK WALLS were rare & only in 1 suite in the hotel. (Now gone to a remodel) We had 10 minutes to get up to the suite & snap a few photos before the Nets arrived. So I met Turner in one moment & had us all racing up to the suite w/those walls the next moment dressed & posing like a pro! We met the Nets in the elevator after grabbing a few select shots. Just in time! -- from those I made this original fine art composite. So #portland we beat Brooklyn twice !! Once the night before & later on THAT game day. It was a nail-biter win too!
