I need nourishment food can’t give me,
Riches that money can’t buy…
Something that makes gold look like rust…
I need peace in the unknown and light for darkness inside
I have a thirst a river can’t quench,
Its current is not strong enough
I need love that romance can’t give me,
The hole in my heart is too big
My mind is still, but my hands are not…
I hear “settle yourself”
I need knowledge a library can’t give me,
All my answers are in one book…
It sharpens my mind and softens my soul
What I need is bigger than life
It’s bigger than the universe itself,
The food, the knowledge, and the love that I need
Is with Him
