if i could give this book a hundred stars, i would. i haven't read an actual good romance book in a really really long time. i have been putting off reading this because i knew it had a love triangle and i am not fond of that.

however. this book changed my mind. never have i ever related to a main character this hard. i am hopeless romantic to my bones. fate, destiny, soul mates you name it. i believe in all of them and so does our main character audrey.

audrey who is set to marry josh after three years of dating but things are just not going smoothly for the couple. but then fred, the guy she met six years ago who was her one that got away arrives at her wedding as her sister in law's date. things start spiraling.

i learnt so much about relationships from this book than i have learned from the real ones. audrey was a flawed heroine and i loved that for her. she had some trauma that she had repressed and then fred arriving all of a sudden. it was too much for her. i could really sympathize with her.

and then josh. oh josh. sweetest, bestest, the most adorable guy i have ever read about. my man was respectful and pining hard. i have no words to describe how deep impact he made on me. he loves audrey so muchhhh. he deserves the world.

all i can say about fred is that guy was a dumb ass. that's it.

this book is going to change your mind about meet cutes and fate and yada yada.

sophie has definitely made a place in my heart as my favorite author shes up their with sarah hogle. muah <3
