Sometimes I forget what my blog on desktop version looks like after years of leaving it untouched; codes and links might not be even working anymore. I have deleted hundreds of posts a year ago–even down to memory lane of 2011 when I started–all those that embodied my whole persona. I wanted to stay under after all the anxiety from unwanted and uninvited pursuant of my blog.

Skipped work one day to spent time with my parents bc I missed them! They picked me up from our apt and also brought our not so litol siopao, my 1-yr old nephew! We went to the park and let him play and socialize with kids. It was nice seeing him just go down the slide on his own ng ganon ganon nalang???? At his age???? Wow! His parents didn't pack his bag with extra clothes so i suggested we remove his jammies instead bc putik putik na yung sa knee area. Haha! We went to a resto for lunch and let him play around while waiting for our orders to be served.

Overbreak!

Skipped work yesterday para matuloy-tuloy ko yung 3 days. I have been sleeeping quite a lot the past few days. Yesterday, i went to our family compound for my aunt's birthday. I still find it interesting what my grandparents were thinking before—as my mom and her sisters celebrate their birthdays on May 2, 4, 6 🤪 my mom is in Vietnam with her best friends for her birthday.

Life lately! 💚💜

I found my favorite drink at work—butterfly pea foam matcha! Since i don't really wanna drink coffee, i decided to try a new drink and i fell in love! Look at those gradient!!!!

I also realized i still have my loyalty card (with faces of the baristas made by my prev officemate) and i was able to reach my final cup, with a freebie of another classic drink + 1 slice of cake!

I asked my officemate to come walk with me to another bakery near work bc she hasn't tried it yet. Safe to say my favorite chicken spicy floss is now her favorite too!

Home 🤎💚

My husband is a minimalist and I love it! As someone who grew up who needs to keep and wash all tupperware, even the disposable ones, I love this change! Natuto ako mag-keep ng microwavable containers lalo na from take-outs, but I also learned the easy way out to throw them kapag, well, ayaw ko lang hugasan na bc it's too greasy. Wow, imagine!? We have that option naman pala!

He's also great with everything house-related works, ~AND~ when I casually mention things, something just suddenly pops out or gets fixed immediately!

One time I told him that bc I'm short, it's too hard for me to reach and see other cable wires sa kitchen counter (microwave, toaster, ricecooker, kettle) and when I got home once, may nakalagay ng cable organizer and he even glued it malapit sa saksakan.

One time I told him he always forgets the light on sa closet room, so he changed it to an auto-sensor light para daw di ko na siya pagalitan.

On my rest day every sunday, I do the laundry; malaki yung shower area kaya andun mismo sa loob yung washing machine. One time I told him i get anxious when i have to scrape and control the water flow whenever i drain it para hindi mag-overflow sa toilet area. He was excited when we got home once kasi meron na daw yung parcel niya, turns out he bought a tube extension para straight to the drainage na yung used water.

ALSO!!!! Have i mentioned that we just actually bought a smart tv just so "makanuod daw ako ng BTS concert"!?!?!?? 😭

We went to SM LU before going home to the city. It was wide, or maybe that's just how I felt bc it's just flat? lol I was just used to SM Baguio bc it has the "view". Anyway, we ate in Kenny Roger's that my husband still reminds me every time napag-uusapan ang ribs, "mas masarap parin yung ribs sa Kenny Roger's sa LU tsaka sa coffe lib", buti nalang may pangbawi for baguio, sa HoC. 😅

Also, I loved the art installation outside!!! Reminds me so much of the Mebuyan Vessel art installation in san juan.

We slept the whole afternoon after having our lunch. We were supposed to go swimming but decided to enjoy the sunset by the beach first. Ended up sitting until it got dark bc wow how small the world is—my husband got awkward seeing some of his young workmates just near us. 😅

Read a book, cleaned the house, went to church, nag-ukay window-shopping, had a filling dinner. Husband also gave a 100-peso tip for the old busking couple outside the resto in the mall. Although galing sa bag ko 😅, he just said "babalik yan ng mas madami". Yes!

I am loving holidays lately, di na ako pumapasok bc why not. I do not save offsets anymore too. I now spend my time more intentional.

Work day + mc for our simple 5th anniv program, closing recog for our mini sportsfest and short toast for the ladies for the women's month. Not anxious but i was irritated (nagulo script ko bc the persons for the welcome remarks suddenly didn't want to talk???), nauseous, and i was having hot flashes. Before we started, i ran to the kitchen and asked for pika snacks bc i was feeling dizzy only to realize the aircon was off. I was too thirsty that i immediately took a sip from the goblet during the toast only to find out it was a cocktail. 🤢 I was sitting on random places while announcing names during the recog bc i was just really not feeling well.
