People who say "it makes no sense for Kara to convince Ruthye to not kill Krem and then she kills him as if she didn't just deliver a whole speech about how revenge is bad" are so freaking weird. Kara wants to protect Ruthye's innocent heart from becoming corrupted and turning to violence and pain. Kara doesn't want a child to have to do it, to become as damaged as Kara. It didn't mean much to her to get her hands dirty after everything she's done, but if Ruthye did it that would be her first kill that could change her forever. It's so simple to understand yet so many people don't understand it. Kara sees herself in Ruthye and she wanted to break the cycle.
