“i have to admit, i haven’t seen much of anything on the internet… or real life, for that matter,” he says, stifling a laugh. “guess i always just stick to what i know and am used to. i want to see some crazy, weird kinks, though! let’s watch something. i want those examples. we don’t need to sleep at night.”

“My real life experience is rather slim as well but the internet can make anyone sound like an expert on certain topics. Read enough, watch enough and you might as well invented the darn thing.” He lets out a laugh of his own. “There are certain videos, old ones. I believe they’re fake but they look so real... do you want to watch them? I have eye drops if needed.”

「💤」A short nod and a smile. Sloth was more than grateful for what the other was doing for him. He knew how often artists were asked to just… perform their arts and how irritating it could get so to have someone actually do it for him deserved his gratitude. “Thank you, really.” And then the sounds started pouring. Or rather – playfully skipping around the two males as Seungmin chose a light jazzy number. Kiwoo was sure he’d heard it before, maybe even more than once but he didn’t care. All he knew was that it sounded nice. Pleasant and gleeful. And while it wasn’t a piece one could doze off to it was more than appreciated by the other. He could feel the ease with which the boy’s fingers found their way on the piano tiles. They danced so prettily. “You’re… so talented.” Sloth whispered. “But all this – it’s such a lie. You make it look so easy. I can only imagine how many nights you didn’t sleep… how many times your hands were aching… how the would swell from overworking. Ahh beauty, the queen of lies.” He spoke in a barely audible whisper, not wanting to interrupt and then he smiled again and fell silent listening. He moved closer to the other and sat beside him, almost leaning in, wanting to see just how much fun the boy had with the music.

“NONSENSE! IT’S FINE, really!” something about the other’s withdrawal subconsciously forces her to grin, as if that’s much more comforting than her assertive behavior. anything’s probably better, actually. in a matter of seconds, she goes from nearly plowing over the counter, to perching happily still, barely wafting from side to side in doing so. she’s won. okay, it isn’t a battle or anything, but she still feels victorious. once the venti cup presents itself at the counter, she immediately hands it to the male. her grin’s almost wider than her face, and it’s hard to believe she almost caused a commotion over something as trivial as this. “tah-dah! your order, but better! don’t drink it too fast, okay?”

“you got a point there, but how many kinks are actually considered federal crimes? unless you’re talking about those sick, messed up people who step on animals and stuff to get turned on. that stuff seriously grosses me out.”

“Well, I was training… But I would have time for you! Maybe– If i just, you know, didn’t sleep at all.” He laughed, but there was a note of melancholy resonating beneath the boy’s words. Changjo’s training period had been a rather difficult one. Not just because it was very physically demanding, but mentally demanding as well. He lived all the way in Chuncheon, and had to go back and forth between there and Seoul to attend practice, on top of having to still attend school. This just served to create a divide between him and his group members, who lived near the city. “I think you’re right, though. My trainee days were… hectic… Everything just blurred together– All I did was practice… all day… every day… until I literally could not move my legs anymore.” Shaking his head, he shrugged off the thoughts– no need to dwell on the past, right? Upon hearing the other’s request, Changjo gingerly pried his hand away from his legs, and held it out towards Seungmin. “Eh– My fingers aren’t short… But they are really crooked, see?” He flexed the digits, displaying the bend. “I don’t have nice piano hands. These things are too ugly to dance across keys.”

WHAT DOES THIS guy think he’s doing? not allowing her to repair the damage of her negligence, that’s what. of course, she appreciates the courtesy, but at the same time, she’s already guilty (not guilty enough to stop drinking whatever it is she had just stolen from him though). “yah, hyung.” she pauses there as she’s peering over at the stranger, like he’s the one who had stolen her drink, and not the other way around. “let me do the ordering here, okay? venti is good for you– a venti, please. the big one!” before he could even consider correcting her, she already shoves her card at the cashier, nearly climbing the counter in doing so. okay so maybe she’s going a little overboard, but this is war here.

A Military friend ( male 23 - 30+ ) 

Seungmin was a grade four solider who played fanfare trumpet in the army band for three years ( 2012 - 2015 ) since he physically couldn’t do active duty (barely.) He befriended this fellow solider over reasons we can plot together, if he’s older than Seungmin it would be cool if he possibly helped Seungmin, looked out for him - basically was a good older brother – superior etc.

A friend from high school! ( any gender around same age ) 

Seungmin can only sleep with a nightlight if he’s facing it, his fear of the dark having no bounds he’d rather have permanent spots in his vision that sleep in stark darkness. He’s reached the mid-threshold to complete sleep when he feels it. There is something on his back? his butt? He’s confused and this isn’t a dream. Sleep’s grip on him loosens, he looks over his shoulder – having slept on his stomach to the light was near his face he looks back.

It’s Seungyoon.

Seungmin is confused. Seungmin is sleepy.

“Go back to sleep.”

「♔」“Play me something, please.” Kiwoo dragged himself lazily over to the other’s side. He was rarely a creature to ask favours, especially from humans but now, settled comfortably right beside a concert piano he couldn’t help but to be curious how well the other could play. The piano was one of his favourite instruments. Not enough to learn it himself, god forbid, but the light sounds of someone pushing the keys and those little hammers hitting the strings exactly the way they should be hit was something he adored to admire. And there was more than one sonata that lulled him to sleep very easily, helping the dreamless snooze be as comfortable as possible. What was more, the Sin quickly learnt that a recording of someone playing and the sound of someone actually hitting the key made a galaxy of difference. Therefore, having met a young pianist he had no scruples to try and squeeze out a mini-recital if only to close his eyes and let the music pull him away. “You can choose whatever. Play me… the thing you love the most. The thing that made you… want to do this forever.”

“No, everything’s fine. Please don’t worry,” she assures him, shaking her head and waving her hands about. Minji doesn’t want to linger long on this subject, especially since his last words have formed an uncomfortable yet familiar lump in her throat. It wasn’t fair to put others in a situation where they felt obliged to say something, but Minji hadn’t anticipated how greatly her emotions seemed to overpower her within a matter of seconds just then so that her eyes had begun to sting painfully with tears slightly. She had hurriedly dabbed them away however, alas she was not quick enough to make an excuse before he could notice and say something. “Nothing – you don’t need to do anything, I swear.”

“You can do this you can do this you can do this.” This isn’t out of the ordinary in 2013 so the nerves are so unnecessary but this is the same kid who has to give himself an hour long pep talk to make important phone calls. Pacing is useless he quickly determines and decides on a better alternative: music. Seungmin doesn’t go anywhere without his iPod and earbuds; he pulls both of out his pocket and sticks the buds in his ears, unlocking the iPod to press play on whichever song he had paused it on before.

Why did he agree to this again? Right, she ruins him. It doesn’t take much, hair pushed behind her ear, innocent eyes – bashful in general. Saying no to her seems like the hugest fuck up Seungmin could possibly do. He’s slipped into a medium head space, the music a balm on his nerves when suddenly there are hands slapped down on his shoulders, “HI,” she chirps in a greeting and he flinches. She’s giggling at his surprise. “You didn’t wait long did you?”
