yet another idea in my growing list of WIPs but like what if yin had kidnapped both lassie and jules and told shawn he could only save one

and then (in the hopes of turning him or breaking his spirit) started telling lassie stuff like "he's not going to choose you, he's going to choose your partner, you're always going to be his second choice. maybe even third if gus is in the picture"
