Fallen: I fly you buy?

Flynn: listen lady, microwaves were made for a reason. It’d basically be ridiculous if I didn’t take advantage of them. Plus, they’re the only kitchen appliance that I comfortably can say I probably will never catch fire to. Flynn: fair enough. Maybe start in the kitchen? That’s more your space anyways. Just make sure my spaghettios are somewhere I can reach. Flynn: I’ll grab some on the way home. Color preference? Or do you want to go one day this week and get a new bed set completely? Like sheets and everything.

“Hmm… I’m pretty intrigued by the gyros; I think that food truck is actually from Reno so I haven’t tried it before,” Roger answered, pointing over at the line of food trucks to indicate his choice. “Huh, that’s pretty awesome! It looks like it’s mostly indie rock and folk stuff, which is a shame only because of the lack of variety, but I’m still down.”

Fallen merely nodded and began to weave in and out of the heavy foot traffic at the venue. They got in line and began to make their decisions when Fallen’s phone buzzed, indicating that the rest of their group was near.

With a distrustful expression, Alexis took a very tentative bit. She had to admit it tasted good but still there was something about the deep fried and sugar coated mess on the plate that she wasn’t sure about. “Why does everyone seemed determined to feed me things that barely qualify as edible?” She raised her eyebrow and slipped into her seat next to Fallen. She hadn’t made a lot of friends here, but she did really like Fallen.

She shook her head; “That’s just a big part of the fair. Otherwise I’m not nearly this sweet-toothed.” Fallen shrugged, continuing to happily munch on her funnel cake. “Do you consider hard alcohol as barely edible?” Fallen was laughing again.

“The music tonight isn’t half bad. Wanna dance with me?” Charlie grinned extending a hand.

Fallen withheld her laugh. “Wow, and here I thought you weren’t the dancing type, babygirl.” Fallen took the offer, pulling Charlie to the dance floor and beginning to move, keeping the other girl close.

She paused and looked up at the girl. “I feel fiiiine. But okay, mom, I’ll sit here. You’re as bad as Jaxon,” she pouted. “Nope. I have not seen anyone.”

Fallen rolled her eyes, finding babysitting far less fun than the wild night she was promised. She debated arguing with the girl but decided against it. “Can you stand? We should eat something.”
