i’m channeling my general feelings of inadequacy here, so.....like for something, i suppose.

a sharp laugh sounds from his throat  ,  he wonders why they seem to want to  ask  about his personal life.  he doubts they truly  care  .

he’s read about the others  ,  about the past  ,  it’s partly what makes him think there has to be  more  for him.
