Guys i need to talk about the manhwa "What it means to be you"
There's so much things to say about it.
First, let's start with how beautiful Violet is, she is so precious and deserves to be protected at all cost
Winter might be a jerk but he's hot goddamn it
Ok, now let's talk about Winter. This dude is a jerk, can't deny this fact.
But we can't say that he had an easy life. He has been through a lot, has been abandoned by his biological mother, been a slave, been adopted but his adoptive parents only see him as a source of income. But he strives so much for affection that he doesn't even mind. And that's what so sad.
He also has an inferiority complex, since Violet comes from royalty, he feels inferior to her due to his commoner background.
That's why he works so much to make sure that Violet will always have everything she needs.
His intentions are actually good when we think about it. But he's impulsive, rude, proud and lacks communication, so that leads to huge misunderstandings with Violet.
Ofc i'm not saying it justifies all his actions, he's still an asshole sometimes buuuut i can still understand where he's coming from.
That's the first time i'm analyzing so much the ml's character.
Can you guys see the difference when they exchange bodies??
I actually prefer when they switch bodies hahaha
He's softer and she's more impulsive, it's good to see.
It's kinda sad that he had to be in her body to understand her pain, how people treat her and how unhappy she can be. Well technically he still doesn't know that part because THEY DON'T COMMUNICATE FOR GOD SAKE
The fact that she tried to kill herself twice already is so saddddd.
After everything she been through i can understand that. Being neglected by her husband, by her family, by everyone.
The problem is that they both have assumptions about each other but they are not willing to sit and have a proper talk.
I want her to confide him about her attempts of suicide, her pain and her worries.
I want him to open to her too and talk about his past and all his fears.
The fact that they can be pretty cute together tho
Don't expect lovey dovey romance, it thought i would be more frustrated and angry because i heard that a lot of people dropped it because of the ml. He does frustrates me ofc, but i'm not totally mad at him.
I guess it's going to be a slowburn, i think it's interesting. With this kind of personality you can't expect him to change over a night just because he switched bodies with his wife once. It just gives more room for some character developement and i can't wait for it!!!!
