Shirayuri ignored her boyfriend’s comment as he placed their baby in her arms. “Hello, my precious.” She placed a light kiss on Natsumi’s nose before softly singing a Chinese lullaby that Jason’s mother had taught her as she rocked her in her arms. Once the Chinese lullaby was finished, she sung a Korean one that her grandmother taught her, then a Japanese one her mother had sung to her as a child and finally an English one that she had learned from her friend Alice. “See?” Shirayuri spoke softly as to not wake up their daughter. “That’s how you soothe her without playing. Sing her a lullaby … Or rap it.”
Jay moved closer to them and watched as Shirayuri sang their baby to sleep in multiple language. He loved watching her interact with the baby. Even if it was both of their first child, she just seemed so natural doing it. She really did look like a mom. He was still trying to figure out how to be a dad! “Uwa~~ You should just get her every time. If I rap to her, it’ll turn into a party. You’d probably end up sending us both to sleep.” he said, chuckling softly as he moved closer to her, nuzzling her neck.
