"I’ve already had enough ass kickings this week. You’ll have to do it next week." Lincoln remarked with a sneer. "My lip is looking pretty healed…Don’t you think?" He asked with a laugh. "Run along now, kid, I’ve got a chapter to finish in my book and it’d be just too easy laying waste to your drunk ass." He eyed the door. "Go on, beat it."
"Sounds like you piss too many people off, Link. Maybe you should work on that." Greyson shot back, venomously. He glanced down at the other’s lips and frowned. "No. I don’t think it looks healed at all." The younger male shook his head and looked the other in the eyes again. "I’ll leave when you tell me that you’ll leave Blake alone."
"Then you'll be standing there for a while." Lincoln sighed, walking back over to his bed, picking up his book. "I can't make promises I won't keep." He said softly, flipping to the page he had left off on. Sending one more glance at Greyson he shook his head. "Besides, she'll seek me out on her own anyways."
