In the first panel he looks at some scattered pieces on his desk and throws his arms up in frustration, shouting, “This is beyond ridiculous I need to kill myself!” Yuujin Mikotoba looks alarmed in the background.
In the second panel he’s with Ryuunosuke. Kazuma says, “Ugh this requires so much needless fetchwork. I need to kill—” He stops. The option “myself” is crossed out as he remembers Yuujin saying, “you shouldn’t say such things even as a joke.” Instead Kazuma turns to look at Ryuunosuke darkly and says, “…you.” Ryuunosuke stares at him blankly, sweating. Kazuma slams his fists down on the desk, labeled “FAIL.”
The last panel shows him in his prosecutor outfit, looking at some paper. He says, “Great. Zero evidence again. I need to kill—” He frowns. Both of the “myself” and “you” options are crossed out now as he thinks, “you’re trying to be nicer remember.” Finally Barok van Zieks, who is standing next to him, asks: “…You need to kill?” Kazuma folds his arms. “I need to kill.”
