Godly Parent:
Hermes, Greco-Roman God of Boundaries, Thieves, Merchands, Travelers, Roads, Commerce, Speed, Gambling, Cunning, Wit, Communication, Philosophy and Alchemy. He is also the Psychopomp and Divine Messenger of the Gods. The Patron of Heralds, Shepherds, Merchants, Thieves, Athletes, Travelers and Orators.
Demigod Abilities:
Dean is able to run at superhuman speeds, as their father is the God of Speed. Some children of Hermes have the ability to teleport, as their father is the God of Travelers. Dean has the capacity for this ability, but is only capable of teleporting very small distances (I.e. a few feet, to the other side of a wall) due to lack of practice, and the action is one of the most draining things he does.
Dean can sense traps and curses on locks, as their father is the God of Thieves. They also share the ability with most Hermes children to undo simple locks at will, though they can’t do anything about the curses or very complex locks, such as vault doors or electronic locks. (Again, potentially due to lack of developing the ability)
Dean is completely Illiterate. However, due to their father being the God of Communication, Dean can understand all languages and speak back in at least 7.
Dean is able to easily persaude people, as their father is the God of Orators. (Occasionally, this skill can manifest itself as charmspeak.)
Dean is a talented pickpocket, and a capable thief. Next to their siblings it probably looks average though.
Dean can somewhat influenceluck, like children of Tyche, but to a lesser degree. This is because Hermes is the God of Gambling.
Dean can create boundaries that no one can cross without permission,unless it is another child of Hermes that is of equal or greater strength in boundary making.
Dean has excellent hearing and memory due to their father being a God of Messangers.
Dean is naturally gifted at sports because their father is the Patron of Sports. Specifically, Dean loves to play any game with a ball, and is particularly talented at Slacklining. When their mother took them on a trip to South America, they developed a special love for a recreation of a mezzoamerican Ballgame they got to play.
Dean isn’t a particularly skilled wielder of any weapon in combat. On the spot, even their archery skills tend to waver. Instead, they prefer to fight using their environment itself as a weapon. Trees, rocks, buildings, whatever they can get their hands on.
Traits:
Dean is diagnosed with severe kleptomania. They will steal almost anything for almost no reason.
They're also more hyperactive than other demigods. Sit still? Like hell. Meditation is their nightmare.
Dean is more athletic than most demigods, mostly due to their inability to be chill for more than two minutes. They are a fast runner, a world class tree climber, and a decent equestrian. Other hobbies include: parkour, skateboarding, skiing, surfing, soccer, tennis, baseball, breaking the rules at trampoline parks, riding rollercoasters, skydiving (once) and jumping rope. These skills come naturally to them due to their parentage, but have also been honed over years of hiking, camping, and traveling.
Dean is a capable inventor. Though not comparable to the children of Hephaestus, they are decent at slapping together small things, like makeshift survival tools.
Dean is extremely competitive, but generally not a sore loser. (Unless they lose to Robin.)
Dean is a talented archer. Not as good as the Apollo cabin archers, but pretty close.

Fortunekinesis: as gifted by nemesis on a conditional basis, Dean can take away a person's luck or fortune, making sure they fail at whatever they do. They can give good luck to those in need and bad luck to those who take advantage of their luck. Dean can curse someone with bad luck if they think the person deserves it. Dean can manipulate luck and fortune, allowing them to change the fates of bets, games, and even if someone's actions will work out for said person.
This ability was chosen intentionally to blend with their other abilities. It is conditional, and can be taken away at any time.
