    Panama formed its National Olympic Committee before 1928 and participated in its first Olympics as a country at the 1928 Amsterdam Summer Olympics. They haven’t hosted any Olympic Games, but they’ve participated in 17 Summer Games and no Winter Games. The Olympic sport in which Panama has medaled is Athletics.

    “It is composed of the national flower “Hatlan”, the national bird “Harpy eagle”, “Mola embroidery”, “7 indigenous traditional patterns”, and the magnificent “Panama Canal”. If you look closely, many hummingbirds are flying cutely. The appearance of a large luxury liner navigating the Panama Canal reflects the author’s thoughts on Panama’s bright future. The etymology of Panama is said to come from the Cueva word meaning “rich in fish.“”[1]
