He saw Payton standing in the door opening and debated whether to let her in. A part of him just wanted to be alone and not be reminded too much of what happened last year, but then again, Payton didn’t come to him to do any harm. Maybe she was feeling alone too… He quickly turned off the radio and nodded. “Yeah sure, come in.”

The girl smiled and walked in, closing the door behind her. “Are you ok?” she asked, all though she wasn’t sure he was going to give her an honest answer. Waiting for the answer of her question, she sat next to the boy and looked at him. “Owen...?” she asked, not sure if he even heard her the first time. 

“I WON’T BE GOING ANYWHERE.”, flora said as she watched her friend disappear. “erm–red. that always looks amazing on you.”. ❞
