It's ok it won't take long, Edith is very persuasive and he'll trust her just enough to do a little bit of it His first maintenance session will come at a cost to her though

Drawing more AU stuff during downtime between comic panels, starting with Cath as a pirate captain. I'll do some more with the rest of the characters being introduced but just getting started, was a nice treat after 2 long comic panels back to back

She's a chip off the block of her grandma and loves robots

Edith will remain his long term mechanic since she has the ability to have his parts custom made (and some stuff that happens in arc 2 means she can continue having those parts made at her leisure)
