Mollie & I went to the #DangerousWomanTour last night in Chicago! We wore these iconic matching shirts which killed it with the crowd, spotted Ariana's mom just casually walking the aisle - being a crazy big fan of Ariana I knew her & yelled "Joan!!!" - she came to talk and shake our hands & agreed to get a selfie with us (top right picture)! We were five rows from the stage, Ariana sang and danced her ass off, and the whole show was a show about positivity, inclusiveness, and love showing support for women, LGBT, & racial minorities. #Queen #UnitedCenter (at United Center)

A lot of things have changed in six years, but some have not. The picture on the left is from Blackout Wednesday 2010: 18 year old Mollie pulled her best Remy Ma scam ("we don't pay admission and the bouncers don't check us and we.. walk around the metal detectors") and got into the Bijou. The picture on the right is from last night, Blackout Wednesday 2016. We hit up The Woodshed and Linz had a beer. Some people might look at these pictures and see the obvious difference, but I look at them and see my two best friends that I had a blast with in Monmouth's finest establishments. Never down about anything that happened, just happy to be here. Be present. Be happy.

"The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime" was moving and powerful. It puts you inside the mind of a teenager who has autism, and we walked out completely floored. We are going again with Kristie and Ronnie next month in Chicago. It's touring the country, go see it. One of my favorite quotes of all time: “When you look at the sky you know you are looking at stars which are hundreds and thousands of light-years away from you. And some of the stars don’t even exist anymore because their light has taken so long to get to us that they are already dead, or they have exploded and collapsed into red dwarfs. And that makes you seem very small, and if you have difficult things in your life it is nice to think that they are what is called negligible, which means they are so small you don’t have to take them into account when you are calculating something.” With all of the shit going on in the world, our day to day problems seem pretty minor when you think about it. Someone out there always has it worse off, so when you do things day to day, you shouldn't let your problems affect your right to live. Channel them to do something better. Be happy.
