I decided my au name is going to be Chronicles! I wrote the first part of the au 🪽

My character sheets would mainly be useful for me since it’s more simplified for a comic style (wink wink)

I confused Mages and Witches, I am rewatching MCD but at the time i started making drafts I was referencing the wiki!

Witches do not have mana or use magicks at all nor can they be physically different, even using dark spells their bodies aren’t altered since there is zero mana flow through them.

Spells : Enchanting words casted verbally or written in runes, Witches evil or good can cast spells in their own tongue.

(Sub category) Potions : concoctions, mixtures, formulas. A liquid made by a witch’s trial and error, unlike Magick both spells and potions are artificial mana making the unbelievable happen but with their two hands rather than being blessed.

How to identify a witch? Witches are humanoid with most being unrecognizable from first glance, commonly seen with their familiars/brooms/hats. Rather than mana flowing through them they need more gaudy clothing to hold their ingredients, spellbooks, brooms, or enchanted tools.

Anyways, Storyboarding rn bc I wanna rewrite a lot of the plotholes from MCD I and MCD II

Mages : Humanoid with mana (Not to be confused with Fae/Elves) the more mana they have the longer their ears (most mages with dark magic slowly become affected by it)

Dark Majecks user : More demonic/closer to the shadow lord. Warlocks & Shadowknights get more affected by this! Most witches do safe practice but they also can get affected.

Lu’pine (Werewolves) : The first werewolves, pure blooded werewolves appear the same as normal ones. Different packs have a different look but most common werewolves in the Ru’aun region look more similar

Meif’wa : Originating from the Tu’la region all Meif’wa are pureblooded with the Meif’wa being the dominant species.

Humans : a dwindling species and more rare to find as most are considered fodder or leaser than the common mage or lu’pine. All Lu’pine who aren’t pure blooded have a human form and dark Majecks users can use majeck for a human guise but it doesn’t hide traces of their mana (ears, eyes, nails)

Shadowknights : reanimated corpses of faithful knights rumored to be subservient to lords blessed by Irene. Most Shadowknights are undead soldiers unable to think for themselves, but when their transformation is complete they have more characteristics similar to their cause of death and are pure dark majeck users possessing hive mind to the shadow lord.

Working on redesigns first, lololol. Reworking MCD almost 11 yrs after it came out is only a side hobby, in no way do I claim to fix or correct Jess’ writing or work. MCD obviously belongs to her, if i decide to change character names or looks it’s only because it’s my AU and the setting is what I decide to be mythical medieval 🪻 Minecraft Diaries, Mystreet, Mermaid Tales, and My Inner Demons belong to Aphmau including the story and characters.
