They’re holding a damp cloth in one hand and a bag of temporary tattoo letters in the other. “Okay, shirt off and I can get started. This is going to look so good.”

“True,” they replied, pulling the first letter out of the bag and peeling off the translucent thin film. They pressed the small white square to the upper part of Jesse’s left peck and grabbed the cloth, applying some pressure to the spot. “I think you’re going to like this, think of it like a science experiment.”

“Now ya know well I don’t understand them science thin’s ya be doin’.” He reminds them as he sits patiently. Looking to the hands working on his chest before glancing back up to Mei. “So no hints? Just gonna make me wait?” He asked with a smile.

Jesse gave him a confused glance as he is stopped. Looking ahead as he explains why they were stopping. He reached for the gun at his hip. Drawing it. “Just animals? Sounds fun.” He hums as he continues his walk. “Few good pelts and we can get a good bit of coin.”

Jamie nods shifting to his wolf form before they continue. There’s four wolves picking at a corpse and through a cart around the bend. Jamie growls and barks at them to get their attention. They turn and growl getting into a fighting stance

All Jesse needs is for the beasts to line up. And for Jamie to not get in the way. But the man shifted. Not what he expected. When the wolves start to charge the werewolf Jesse fires quick shots. Taking a few down easily with a bullet to the head before he reloads. Cursing not checking prior.

About two were left after Jesse fires, Jamie launches at them aiming for the throat. He’s able to take down the first one but it manages to catch his shoulder with a pretty bad bite. He turns to face the next as it barrels into him. He howls in pain as it gets his already injured shoulder at an angle that makes it difficult for Jamie to get at its neck. Jamie thinks quickly though and manages to ram into a tree, trapping the wolf between himself and e trunk. He holds still and growls towards Jesse, trying to tell him to take a shot while he’s got the wolf mostly immobile.

Jesse got to reloading. Assuming a werewolf could handle what was left. He wasn’t very experienced with were creatures but the few he did encounter were far stronger than their normal animal counter parts. Seems James was rather outnumbered though. And his already malnourished and injuries body probably slowed him. The gun was reloaded by the time he saw the wolf pinned to the tree. A quick second to aim was all it took before he fired and kills the wild beast.
