Home. My heart has expanded a notch (or three). I received more from this trip than I could give. I am overtaken with love. Love for Jesus. Love for God's heart. Love for my Haitian people and heritage. Love for the beauty of finally beginning to understand who I am (and finally accepting it). Love for my calling, gifted to me by the Father, and that calling so naturally manifesting it self in another country (talk about confirmation and affirmation). Love for that beauty of a man named Dakota L. Smith, my Boaz and my gentle leader. Love for his calling. Love for the life I often griped about before going on the trip. Looking back over the past several days and reflecting on my powerful and resilient heritage. Though it's my last night in Haiti, the seed has only just been planted. I have been touched and have touched lives in a new way this week and I am speechless. I can't wait to share.
