It is a nice night, you made me look out the window to check. Are you already out? How is it?

At least you got to see it. Yeah, I’m out. It’s as nice as it looks like it would be. A little chilly, but I was prepared for that. 

TONY: Hey, you.

That's a big question. Don't you want to know what my favorite book is or something? I guess not. To keep things short and sweet, I don't think there's anything wrong with poly relationships, and I would never judge or discourage anyone getting into one. But, I don't think they're really for me.

Spring, no question. The sun, the perfect temperatures, the long days...I could go on.

That's a tough question, but I think I have to say giraffes.

For a Wednesday evening you all sure are a dull bunch. Have we all forgotten how to party, or did I just not make the invite list? Anyone up for entertaining me? I’ll bring snacks.

I’m a little preoccupied for the time being but Friday I’d be up for a hangout if you would be up for it still. I’m Benji by the way. I don’t think we’ve met. 

As he opened the door, Tony was greeted with a hug and a smile and returned the same. As Benji checked his temperature, Tony’s eyes watched that wrist touch him in curious surprise at first and then warm fondness when he realized what was happening. “I missed you too, Benji. You’re cute.” His hands hand already found the other man’s waist, and he looked like he might let go to do as he was told he could but ended up not. “I can sit in the kitchen with you while you do that. I’ll rest in a chair so I can watch you.”

PM: Bebé. Tenía la sensación de que podías ser romántico. Sutil pista, amor. Soy un romántico empedernido. Y no tienes que esconder la tuya. Speechless is fine. Speechless is good, even. Given context. I’ll keep score on that one though. You are here, I know. I see you, my dulce. It can look like whatever you want it to look like. We can slot down time to go over your classes every week, depending on how much help you need. You can show me what you need help with, and if I don’t understand it myself– like the math– I can consult the lesson plan and the lesson planner to get a grasp on it. Enough to help. You know, I might have considered it a time or two.

PM: Sí, bebé. ¿Estás de acuerdo con eso? ¿Qué me delató? Eso pensé, descarado. Lo eres, y creo que esa es una de las cosas más hermosas de ti. Tal vez no. Tal vez no lo haré. You amaze me. It’s an old family recipe my mom and grandma always gave us when we were sick, it worked every time. I brought a few  movies in case you want to watch one, you can lay on me. I’ll wrap you up and rub your back until you fall asleep. I...Would like that. If it’s not too much for you. You’re already stretching yourself thin. I don’t know what to say about the fact that you’re willing to do all that either. It’s not easy stuff, I know. I don’t know if I ever told you, but I’m a Physical Therapy major. I thought you might have, you’re smart like that. 

PM: Si estamos hablando así, tal vez siempre he sido suave. Me gusta cuando estás. Lo haré. You don’t have to say anything. I do feel that from you, yes. No math is good math when it’s got a III afterwards. That means three times as hard. I would do that, yes. I want that, yes. I’m interested in your details, I want to be involved if you need it. And I don’t know if you’ve heard, but I’m pretty good at teaching. It’s almost like it’s my job or something.

PM: ¿Es eso así? No me sorprende, pensé que podría ser el caso. Un romántico empedernido siempre se encontrará con un romántico empedernido. Lo tendré en cuenta, nena; bueno. I feel like I should because that was really meaningful, but I’m pretty speechless. You’ve taken my words for the second time with that one. I’m right here, you know. You’re telling me. I’m wading through it, but it’s rough. I’ve never been a math whiz either. What if I said I did need it? What does that look like? No kidding? I had no clue! You should totally make that your career.

PM: Cariño, ángel, podría acostumbrarme a eso. Mi dulce. You are special. I know you don’t always think so, but you are. Te necesito. Which classes are you getting Cs in? Are you interested in raising any of those grades? I was serious when I said I’d tutor you if you wanted. We can go over your schoolwork together.

PM: Yo... sí. Supongo que me estoy ablandando. O tal vez estoy preocupado por ti. Tal vez no haya tal vez en eso. De todos modos, puedes acostumbrarte si quieres. I...Don’t know what to say to that, to be honest. Thank you. You’re special too, and I hope you always feel that from me. ¿A mí? It’s Psychology of D/s and Medical Math III. You’d...Do that? You want that?

PM: Tal vez. No me importa que me cuides tampoco. Podría volver a enfermarme a propósito, o fingir. Para tu atención. Yo también me preocupo por ti, por eso quiero asegurarme de que estés bien. Please do, I’d like that. You can pack some stuff up to bring with you tomorrow, if you want to wait so that you get here quicker tonight. I know. I want to do that.

PM: Eres otra cosa, lo sabes, ¿verdad? No tienes que hacer nada para llamar mi atención, cariño. Pero pase lo que pase, yo cuidaré de ti. Lo haré. ¿Oh sí? Gracias, eres un ángel. I will. I’m here for you. Alright, I’ll do that then. I’m almost to your place. I don’t know what to say. You know how to make me feel special. That’s something. 

PM: Maybe. I don’t know, I have a lot of thoughts on that. It might be a bug, I’ve been working harder lately to get through my end of the year stuff and my body definitely prefers the heat. It snowed again yesterday. When I get sick, it’s always when it’s cold. I’d like that, my dulce. Even if you just came to run your fingers through my hair and touch my back. Now who’s being honest? I’ll make sure you’re first to know when I pull them out. I have a lot of little things you might like seeing me wear, really. A very good thing. You wouldn’t want to see me wither away, and the Headmistress probably wouldn’t like me installing a widow’s window on my suite. I am, yeah. I’m also just checking in on you, making sure you’re doing well. 

PM: No deberías presionarte así, cariño. Tienes que descansar y cuidarte. No es que me importe cuidarte, en lo más mínimo. I can stay with you until you feel better, if you want. You shouldn’t be alone. Like I said, you need your rest. Good, I’ll make sure you’re alright. I wouldn’t just come to do that. Aren’t I always? I’ll hold you to that. Oh no, can’t have that. Not either of those things, because you’re right, I doubt she would be okay with that. Thanks, that’s sweet of you. You don’t have to do that. 

Benji raised his eyebrows while his eyes bounced between the scene in front of him and Sam's face. "Dude, seriously? Okay, alright, let's re-strategize. What if you lead this time and I'll cover your bindspots for snipers?"
