âHow To Tie A Scarf?'
1.Drape
The Drape leans more towards style rather than function. You donât tie the scarf at all â but itâs a great way to add a dash of color to your drab overcoat and draw attention to your face.
A scarf drape is best for when the weather is cool, but not cold. As the name implies, just drape the scarf over your neck, equal lengths on each side, and donât tie it â youâre good to go.
The scarf drape works best with a short to regular length scarf.
2.Once Around
With the Once Around, you still donât really tie the scarf, but it provides more warmth around the neck than the scarf drape, and so can be worn in colder weather. Start by draping the scarf around your neck, making one end longer than the other.
Take the long end of the scarf and bring it around your neck and youâre done â no need to tie a knot. The ends of the scarf can either be equal length or uneven â itâs really up to the wearerâs preference.
3.Over Hand
This scarf knot is very simple to tie, looks clean and functional, and provides good protection to the neck in cool weather.
Drape the scarf around your neck, making one end longer than the other. Take the long end of the scarf, cross it over the short end, then bring it under and through the opening near your neck to tie.
After you tie the knot, pull on both ends of the scarf to tighten it until you are satisfied with the look. I think this scarf knot looks best when one end is slightly longer than the other.
4.Reverse Scarf Drape
This is a great way to wear a scarf in colder weather. Again, you donât really tie this scarf knot, but it provides a lot of protection to the neck.
Drape the scarf over your neck, making sure both ends are of equal length.
Take one end of the scarf and bring it across your neck and over the opposite shoulder, then do the same with the other side. No need to tie it â adjust the scarf around your neck if necessary and youâre done.
5.Parisian Scarf Knot
A very classy looking way to tie a scarf, this scarf knot provides good warmth to the neck and is a good choice in colder weather.
Fold your scarf in half widthwise, then fold in half again lengthwise.
Drape the scarf over your neck, and then bring the loose ends through the hole formed by the folded end to tie the knot. Tighten the scarf around your neck and youâre ready to go.
6.Fake Knot
This is a more complicated scarf knot to tie, but itâs a great colder weather option that will look sharp with either a casual jacket or a formal overcoat.
Drape the scarf around your neck, making one end longer than the other. Take the long end of the scarf and bring it behind and around itself to form a loop, then take the end down and through the loop.
Grab the other end of the scarf and bring it down and through the loop as well to tie the knot. Work the knot up to your neck by gently pulling on each end of the scarf while sliding the knot up.
7.Reverse Drape Tuck
Not too commonly seen, this scarf knot works best if you tie it with a longer scarf. Drape the scarf around your neck, making one end longer than the other.
Take the long end of the scarf and loop it once around your neck. Now take the same end and tuck it through the loop you just formed. Grab the other side of the scarf and tuck it through the loop as well to tie the knot. Adjust the scarf if necessary.
8.Reverse Drape Cross
Very similar to the Reverse Drape Tuck, this scarf knot works great when you tie it with a longer scarf.
Drape the scarf around your neck and make one end longer than the other.
Take the long end of the scarf and bring it up and around your neck. Now cross the long end of the scarf over the other end, then bring it up and through the opening you just formed to tie the knot.
Pull on the ends of the scarf to tighten if needed, and youâre done.
9.Four In Hand
Another great way to tie a long scarf, this scarf knot protects the neck very well and is the perfect option when the weather is freezing cold.
Because of the many folds, this scarf knot is also one of the most intricate looking ways to tie a scarf. Like the Parisian Knot, fold the scarf in half length and width wise, and then drape it over your neck.
Take one of the loose ends of the scarf and pull it through the loop formed by the folded end. Twist the loop, then pull the other end of the scarf through the loop to tie the knot.
Continue to adjust the knot until the scarf is sitting neatly around your neck.
10.Twice Around
This scarf knot is the best choice for freezing weather next to the Four in Hand, but it is much simpler to tie. Again, it will work best if you are using a longer scarf.
Drape the scarf over your neck, making one end much longer than the other. Take the long end of the scarf and wrap it around your neck, then repeat again, bringing it around your neck a second time. This is another knot where you donât really tie the scarf.
Adjust the scarf if needed to completely cover your neck, and you are all set for whatever the winter weather has in store for you.

âThings you should know before you buy sunglasses .â
⢠  Wear sunglasses year-round. Even on cloudy days the UV index can be dangerously high.
⢠  Overexposure to the sun can cause damage to the cornea, tissue growth on the surface of eyes, as well as skin  cancer on the eyelids.
⢠  Sun damage may contribute to the development of cataracts.
⢠  All protective eyewear should have side-shield or wraparound protection so light cannot enter the eye from side reflections.
⢠  Check the label. Sunglasses labeled UV400 offer more than 95 percent UV protection, which is the recommended level of protection (not all sunglasses are labeled).
⢠  People who wear contact lenses that offer UV protection should still wear sunglasses.
⢠  Sunglasses don't have to be dark to offer protection. Neutral gray, amber, brown, and green lenses can block at least 80 percent of transmissible light.
⢠  Children's eyes are not able to block UV rays as well as adults' eyes.
⢠  People with light-colored eyes are at higher risk for sun damage to the eyes and need to protect them year-round.
⢠  If you don't have wraparound sunglasses, wear a hat with at least a three-inch brim that can block sunlight from overhead.
⢠  Sunglasses are helpful for preventing the drying effect caused when wind meets contact lenses
⢠  Small infants should always be shaded from direct exposure to the sun.

âHow to dress like Johnny Depp.â
Johnny Depp, for me, is one of the most influential style icons when it comes to menâs clothing. Such a style makes me think why I donât see more of it when Iâm out and about. The truth is, when I walk down the road, its either jeans and a t-shirt or a track-suite, both of which are perfectly fine; if youâre comfortable with the way you look and feelâŚthatâs great!
But whoâs to say men shouldnât be able to make a statement with their clothing? Itâs true, dressing as unique as Johnny Depp on a day-to-day basis (without being a world class actor) might look a tad out of place. Popping down to Sainsburyâs wearing ripped jeans, a dark brown waistcoat, bangles half the way up your arm and a hat, I can understand if thatâs too much.
However, likewise to womenâs fashion, we can take little snippets from a flamboyant way of dressing and make it our own. Hereâs just a few ways of doing soâŚ
Texture
A common aspect of this style is layering up the textures. This picture shows a suede fronted waistcoat and what looks to be a regular leather back. Leather also seem to be an easy option for creating difference in and outfit. A cotton shirt underneath a jacket or waistcoat like this is perfect! A long as it doesnât look like your bog-standard work shirt with a big collar, youâre on youâre way. Johnny wears small collared shirts a lot and tends to roll the sleeves up. This looks extremely flattering. If youâre not a fan of short sleeves, a long sleeved shirt rolled up to three quarter length also gives the same âmessyâ look. Experiment with different textures, it all depends on how Deppified you want to go; Iâd say the look above is pretty neutralâŚnot too out there.
Jewellery
Thereâs no doubt about it, most men have an ignorance to wearing jewellery. But look at it!!! You have to trust in that fact that Johnny looks so cool with bangles, bracelets and necklaces. You might even think you canât pull it off, but give it a go, as long as itâs with the right clothes itâs all fine.
Beads, leather string, and silvers. Anything you see in those quaint little shops on holidays, hippie shops, basically make it look like youâre well travelled ;D. Wearing jewellery with fairly basic clothing such as this baggy gypsy top (roll up those sleeves to give the illusion of less fabric) means you donât look to much. You donât need six different necklaces if you donât want to, just one or two will do.
Jeans
To sum up the jeans: ripped, acid washed, denim. Usually baggy and frayed at the ankles, not like the skinny fit we see these days. Again, try keeping the top minimalistic if youâre not wanting to go all out, but if you are⌠patterned tops can be really effective, shirts with a double denim effect like the one above with pockets and such.
Other accessories
Now this is where you can really experiment. Lets take a white t-shirt and blue ripped jeans. Simplistic.
Add a wide rimmed hat (stick some feathers in it if youâre feeling it) generally more worn in hats of black or brown, fabric or leather look best. A lightweight scarf just to wrap around can distract from any undone buttons and add to the effect of the necklaces. Lastly, who can forget the old faithful glasses? Youâre look wonât be complete without them, any weather can require the need of glasses, so donât feel stupid about wearing them. dark shades, coloured shades or if you actually need prescribed glasses, go for some brown rimmed roundish shaped ones.
When styling this look, all you need to remember is to buy things that donât look brand spanking new, buy rips, worn in, almost grungy/ bohemian.
In the end, you just have to be confident in what youâre wearing. Imagine seeing someone wearing the picture above in a shop. If they were clearly unconfident and uncomfortable, they would bring more attention to themselves than someone who looked quietly confident.
