Faye is an avid reader. She has an extensive library spanning most any genre, fiction or nonfiction, including rare tomes on some perhaps questionable magicks. But her guilty pleasure is her stash of steamy romance novels...

Faye has a complicated relationship with her relatives and the idea of family in general. Fortunately(?) for her, most of them are dead, so she never has to talk about or unpack those complicated feelings. :)

FEBHYURARY: Day 19 - Dream Faye has recurring dreams nightmares, usually the same one every time, with night terrors that rip her from her sleep. They have lessened over the years, but they never quite seem to go away.

If Faye tells you her husband is the only man she has eyes for, she's lying, because Sir Checkers Reginald III also has her heart. But who can blame her, really?

FEBHYURARY: Day 10 - Gold Saucer Faye is very competitive and loves to win--in fact, if you ask her, she never loses. The gambles she makes aren't usually with gil, however.

With Faye being my in-game FFXIV RP OC, I don't consider her to be a WoL and I like to keep her relatively far away from most of the happenings of the MSQ and major NPC's, so I don't really give much thought to her shards or the Ancient she may have originally been split from. But whenever I play through new story content, since she's my gameplay main, I do like to headcanon a sort of WoL!Faye AU, so I've thought a bit about her Azem. I see a lot of people make their Azem or their WoL's other shards to be very similar if not identical to their WoL, but I like to imagine them to be very different physically, just like Ardbert is going to inevitably be very different from most players' WoL's. Most of all, I wanted her Azem to be a man, since a lot of the characters that have inspired me for Faye have oddly enough been male characters. You know that writing advice for people who struggle to write compelling female characters, "write a male character, then make him a woman"? I think I've kind of done the opposite lol

FEBHYURARY: Day 7 - Technology I've never really vibed with the idea of tomestones just being modern day cellphones. I find it to be kinda discordant with the setting and not really conducive to much storytelling, and I have some similar gripes about how thoroughly S9 has leaked into the RP scene. But, I'm not here to yuck anyone's yums or debate about what's canon, so whenever it's brought up in RP, I just mitigate it with the fact that Faye is a boomer at heart and has no idea what to do with all this newfangled technology.

Majesty the Chocobo has been Faye's faithful companion for many, many years now.
