I have two cats, and while we are in the process of moving, they have been relegated to the bathroom, which is generally alright, except that when you pull your pants down to sit and do your business, there are two cats who would also like to do your business.
I have read several classic novels now, outside of a scholastic setting, and I can confidently say that the reason people think they're pretentious and awful books is because everything you naturally glean from them is constantly being challenged by bad curriculums that constantly ask you nonsense like "why was the Vaseline glove important in of Mice and Men?" instead of treating you like you are smart enough to understand what the actual point of the book was.
That being said, Wise Blood is a horrible and pretentious book and I would fist fight the author to the death if given the chance.
I'm rather amused by the "controversy" surrounding Plushie Dreadfuls, because the long and short of it is that a lot of people don't feel represented by them, and they don't like that the plushies crowd designed by hundreds of people that have the disorder feel like generalizations or stereotypes.
I don't support the angle that "they're always going to be stereotypical". Rather, I believe that it's very strange to mock and demonize the plushies when thousands of people, myself included *do* feel represented by them, or at least just feel a little less alone having our disorder recognized on any mass scale.
I think it's more belittling to have people from your own community discredit and ignore your opinion because you happen to like the mental illness rabbits.
Actually I think my problems would be solved if Rock Lee showed up at my door for real life with steak and a bottle of 10mg Tizanidine tablets.

Glam never built another diorama of the city and I think about that a lot because when I was a kid going through a lot, I started writing a book, and the computer it resided on broke. I love to write and think about that story all the time but I haven't been able to get myself to put pen to paper in it ever since because everything it was and needed to be is lost to a time I don't want to go back to, and to try and recreate it today would require me to relive those memories or else deface the original story and its intent as they existed back then.
But if he never gave up that hobby, I think Glam would have been a profoundly talented diorama sculptor. Isn't it funny how music is his chosen vice, but that's never where he shone as a prodigy?
When i was thirteen, my family was living with another family because we had nowhere else to go.
One time, someone ate my hot pockets, the last box of the pretzel chicken broccoli ones I ever got before they discontinued them.
At the time, I kept my mouth shut about it, because we ate a lot of their food too. I was a little miffed though because we never ate anything specifically for them/not for sharing.
But today I realized that I was 13. I was a kid who had a special snack just for them for once, and someone else ate it to spite my mother and myself.
This happens to me so often, that I realize I let some awful things happen to me because I thought "i kind of deserve it for making them put up with me", but then remember that I was a child.
A sick, homeless, mentally ill child, who was still expected to clean and cook and help and be of use, to lessen the burden my existence put on those who had claimed to welcome me without need for repayment.

It would be really neat i think if someone wrote/drew Zero!Lupin taking Jigen to an aquarium but then having a panic attack at the touch tanks because of an octopus.
Bonus points if Jigen caused it by fucking around with Lupin trying to get him to touch it because he was completely unaware that Lupin is allergic to and deathly afraid of octopi.

I'm feeling weirdly emotional today? I started reading Fahrenheit 451 and got to the part where his wife overdosed on sleeping pills (like 12 pages in) and kept having to pause so I wouldn't cry from there to page 28 when I gave up for the day.
I don't know, I just think a drawing of Rock Lee cuddling with a chubby Slowpoke would heal me. My dopy boys.
