I feel like a lot of people are using people mentioning Wilbur as a sort of excuse to ignore the massive hints and actual confirmation from not only Shubble herself, but other victims who have spoken up now and confirmed it was Wilbur. None of the victims want to directly say it’s him, in order to avoid a lawsuit, not because they actually don’t want to say who it is (this was reheiteratred by Shubble). Like the “don’t speculate” people don’t actually care about supporting Shubble, they just don’t want recognize one of their fav ccs to be an abuser.

And I was originally on the “don’t speculate” side, until I actually watching the entire VOD.

It’s him. There is no way it’s not him. There are too many consistencies within the video and what we know about him for it not to be. Not only that but Lovejoy’s ex trumpeter confirmed it was who everyone was thinking of.

A British cc who is a famous musican, is friends with her friends. Multiple of their friends witnessed the abuse. There are just so many consistencies within what Shubble said.

There are old videos of him being weirdly threatening to overpower Niki, several old videos of people mentioning that he bites and leaves BRUISES, he mentions how unclean and dirty he “used to be” when he was younger in the Anthony Padilla video (I also remember a stream where he mentioned he has almost nothing to eat in the house but expired cheese and said he still ate it???); all of which are things Shubble mentions he would do in the video.

She also spoke up after the stream, while everyone was putting the pieces together that it was him and said that people should stop assuming she didn’t say his name because she didn’t want to. It was because she couldn’t.

She never mentioned it wasn’t him or that people were dogpiling on the wrong person. Just that she couldn’t say his name, not that she didn’t want to. If it wasn’t him, she would’ve said that people going at the wrong person.

That was the nail in the coffin for me. No denial of it being him but just a reminder that she can’t legal say his name because she might get sued.

Ranboo has also unfollowed him on insta since Shubble has come out, I’m sure others will start to as well. And this shows that you can support her while not focusing on him, while still not supporting him anymore.

Edit: Aimsey has also unfollowed Wilbur and Shubble doesn’t follow him either.

That’s the biggest issue I have with how some fans are treating this. Ignoring the warning signs and still blindly supporting him is not helpful nor supportive of Shubble. It feels more like an excuse to keep supporting him, rather than actual care for Shubble and what she went through.

And I think people are forgetting the most important part. She didn’t tell everyone this so she could heal. She said herself, she’s already healed and this is part of it.

She told everyone because she’s thinks he’s dangerous and is going to do it again. That’s why she felt the need to speak up. Because it’s only keeping HIS peace. We need to support Shubble. And part of supporting her, is no longer supporting her abuser.

I’ll say it one more time. She spoke up because she doesn’t want to keep his peace and is warning people because she thinks he’s dangerous. She didn’t name him, not because she didn’t want to, but to protect herself from being sued by him. Part of supporting Shubble is no longer supporting her abuser.

And if she thinks he’s dangerous, then it would be dangerous to continue to support him.

This isn’t a witch hunt, it’s common decency to stop supporting a creator who is an abuser. Please remember that before you pull the “innocent until proven guilty” out of your ass. Because it’s been proven he’s guilty. Now what are you gonna do about it?

Stop supporting and protecting him.

There are never enough words to encapsulate my grief. There are never enough words to encapsulate my gratitude. There are never enough words to encapsulate what a person really means to you. There don't have to be.

You don't have to say anything. You don't have to do anything. If you can and if it makes you feel better, then absolutely go for it. But if you don't have the money to donate, or the words to eulogize, or the energy to do something in Techno's memory... Don't force yourself. Your grief does not need to be productive. Your heart is a strained muscle, be gentle with it.

If all you can do right now is hold the weight of this loss in your chest and live your life, that's more than enough. You are Techno's legacy simply by virtue of carrying him in your heart and keeping him in your memories and living. You have nothing to earn and nothing to prove to him-- Techno cared about you already, in the way he cared for all of his fans.
