Ichimatsu would have fought against the arm slung around his shoulders more if he wasn’t already tipsy, only managing a weak grumpy-looking face in response as he near stumbled over his own feet after being pulled closer.

“Bullshit…”

There he goes again with that stupid flowery talk. Karamatsu should really consider himself lucky that the fourth-born was way more tolerant of this kind of thing when inebriated. By which it means a carefully placed jab with his elbow in the other’s side was the most ‘punishment’ the elder brother received.

“It’s jus’ somewhere that you’ve been before…”

Probably.

He has no idea a karaoke bar is the fate awaiting him.

His brow twitched when Ichimatsu called bullshit on his talk. Of course he tried to not let it show. Just as he was about to speak once more, his brow twitched once again when the other hit the bullseye. He tried once again to not let it show and he cleared his throat.

❝Non, non, my dear buraza~❞ He needed to cover it up that Ichimatsu hit right on the mark. ❝I can reassure you it isn’t where I have been. I’ve told you, the angel of guidance will show us the way to a lovely bar!❞

Sue him for going out drinking without his brothers. He wanted to try some of the places here. How he managed to get home, while drunk? Well he had help. He had his date come and get him. Granted he couldn’t sleep at his place, but still.

Karamatsu had visited many of his brothers’ work places. It was nice to see them work, especially the eldest. The one where everyone thought he’d be the last to get a job.

Today he had visited Ichimatsu’s workplace. It’s nice seeing his younger brother at work. He didn’t have the heart to bother him whenever he’s busy. So of course, he just let him know he’ll be around and that he’ll just take a look at the shelter.

As he looked around, he spotted a cute and tiny cat. His eyes shined when he saw the cute feline and he crouches down, smiling.

It seems he was tasked in getting some waffles at his brother’s work place. He didn’t seem to get why Osomatsu couldn’t go himself. He could just get a worker’s discount if he went. Sure they do share the same face, but the way they acted is much different and he can’t lie to an owner about being their worker.

Karamatsu never thought that he would love his job. To be honest, he never had any plans on having one. He was content in just being a housewife for his darling. Then again he could still be one once they move in together and get married. Actually that sounds like a plan.

He twirled around when he heard the door’s bell ring, signaling that they had a customer.

Ichimatsu immediately regret the decision to reluctantly allow the second eldest to give him this ‘makeover’ the second he felt a single eyebrow hair being plucked from his skin. It was a miracle he’d even gone along with Karamatsu’s plans – at least nobody else was around to witness it – but now he was stuck there with his head held down on his older brother’s lap, it seemed like the only way he could escape was by fighting his way out.

Cue one yelp of surprise at the sudden sharp stinging, followed by a flailing attempt at slapping the other’s hand away.  

“Oi! I-It’s painful!”

Seriously this time! You’re literally hurting!

Karamatsu was happy that his brother allowed him to give him a little makeover. To be honest, he was irritated that he needed a cleanup. A big one. Sure his brother’s brows aren’t really a lot but it grew in other places besides the brow line. That was irritating him. So of course he started with his brows first.

He jumped when the other yelp and he moved his hand away.

❝Ah sorry buraza, I thought you were tolerant of pain that I went with the tweezers.❞ He looks at it then he puts it away in his bag ❝Let me use something else.❞ He looks through his makeup bag and pulls out the eyebrow shaver.

❝Here, this should be easier. It’s painless and you won’t get cuts. Promise.❞ He smiles, looking down at him. ❝I’ll even show you.❞ He used it on himself. Of course this guy didn’t need a mirror to know where to shave near his brows.

The fact that Karamatsu still needed more time to get ready was met with a look of irritation, but that soon faded upon the realization that this would give him more time to finish the beer that was already in his hands. Even if Ichimatsu was already bordering on tipsy, he still acknowledged that wandering down Bellevue’s streets holding the can would be less than helpful.

By the time the drink was gone the second-born had returned, armed with a pair of shades despite it already starting to get dark. Ichimatsu scoffed, but made no further comment as he turned to leave. This was a ridiculous yet painfully common sight.

“Do you even know where we’re going?”

Ichimatsu sure as hell didn’t. There was no oden bar to sit at for hours racking up a tab they’d never pay around here, but there were a fair selection of different bars dotted all around the districts. None of which he was familiar with.

❝Heh..❞ He puts his arm around his brother’s shoulders, pulling him close. ❝Of course my dear buraza! I always know where to go as there is always a path that shines and leads me to wherever it wants me to go!❞

In other words he has no clue on where to go and was just going to take his brother somewhere for a while until he sees a bar.

“Oi, Kusomatsu—“

Ichimatsu’s voice sounded surprisingly coherent for a lightweight who was already two cans of beer down. It was getting late, the sun already starting to slip away past the horizon, and a plan to go out to drink (even more) was in motion. Taking a sip of his third can, the fourth-born just had to wait for Karamatsu to get ready first.

Wasn’t just throwing some shoes on enough?

“If you don’t hurry up I’m changing my mind…”

❝Heh, no worries buraza, I promise to be quick! I just have to make a few adjustments!❞

He was trying to make himself look presentable and not drunk. He had to cover up the slight pink that was appearing on his face and he jogs over to his brother. He puts on his shoes, slipping on his shades. Just in case well, they might try to look into his eyes to check if he’s drunk.

Osomatsu grinned evilly as he sneaked up on one of his brothers. It was a rainy day and they were stuck indoors. Of course Osomatsu didn’t mind it but he was starting to get bored. So of course he thought of a game they could all play.

A very messy game.

He stopped just a few inches away from them and reeled his arm back. What was in his hand? Well, they’re soon about to find out.

❝FOOD FIGHT!❞ He chucks the food, not really caring for which brother he was aiming for.

Yup just an ordinary day with the Matsuno brothers.

Ichimatsu had seen this coming. He always was one of the more observant of the brothers, and the eldest’s suspicious sneaking about was clearly visible from his spot at the circular table, directly opposite him. A quick glance over the others showed they might not have noticed the way Osomatsu’s arm pulled back to launch something in their direction, which made the sudden declaration of a food fight that much more chaotic.

Fortunately for the fourth-born, as lethargic as he could be on a daily basis, his reaction time when it came to these things – particularly defending himself – was surprisingly quick.

Quick enough to wordlessly grab the collar of Karamatsu who was sitting beside him, and yank him forwards like a shield just in time to avoid the majority of the food flung at them.

Karamatsu saw what the eldest was up to through the reflection of his mirror. Of course he tried to get out of the way of it. Whatever he was up to, never meant a good thing. With the rainy weather and everyone being stuck in the apartment, Osomatsu’s bound to get bored, really quick. Unlike some of them who can find something to do to entertain them real quick and keep them busy, Osomatsu was the opposite. Yes he tends to find something but he gets bored of it fast.

When he heard the other yell out ‘food fight’, the second eldest immediately tried to leave in order to avoid getting caught in the fire. However, someone had other plans.

He yelped when he was yanked so suddenly and the food splattered onto his face.

Ichimatsu’s eyes narrowed slightly. He definitely didn’t believe that. Surely it was more realistic that Karamatsu thought he was doing well, but in reality was putting all the customers off their food with that stupid flowery way of speaking.  The staff were probably no better off. Being polite out of courtesy and being genuinely nice were two different things. The second-born always was annoyingly delusional when it came to his outer persona’s reception.

“Fine.”

He wasn’t going to object to something free. And Karamatsu dealing with actual customers would give him the perfect opportunity to see how he was really doing. Watching carefully as his older brother walked off, Ichimatsu near poked his head around the side of the booth to track the other’s movements as he continued work, his expression growing somewhat disgruntled as he came to the realization that Shittymatsu was actually doing pretty okay.

It kind of pissed him off.

Not to mention the confusion that came with it. Since when could Karamatsu contain his ego and talk to people normally? Did the other brothers know about this? Should he be taking photographic evidence right now?

“Oi–!”

Instead of going with his instinct to fire off a red alarm in text message form to the rest of the Matsuno family, Ichimatsu called out to bring the other back over.

“Are you really Karamatsu?”

The buraza kind of gave it away, but after seeing what he just saw compared to what he was used to, it was fair to double check.

At first when Karamatsu got the job, he couldn’t really bring the food and drinks from point A to point B. It was the balance he couldn’t really master, but he did however learn rather quickly. Customer service was great right off the bat. Of course being the talker he is, it was quite easy for him. He wasn’t lying how the people were nice too.

He was still his usual self but a bit toned down. Just slightly. The people seem to enjoy his flowery talk too. Plus he has conversations with the guests here, especially the elderly that comes around. Students who comes here to study, he tends to converse with them too. The manager seems to be pleased with his performance.

As he was chatting with the people he was tending to, two elderly couple, his brother had called for him. He looks back then looks at them ❝Ah excuse me, my dear buraza has called for my attention! Do not hesitate to call me if needed!❞

With that he walked back to his brother.

Once he got over, he immediately received the rather confusing question that came out of his brother’s mouth. He blinks a couple of times, raising a brow. He wasn’t sure where that was coming from.

Cafes were not places that Ichimatsu frequently visited. Only when in the company of someone else would he bother and even then, unless their food menu was rather extensive, there wasn’t much he liked in there at all.

Bellevue’s Grind House had just gotten that little bit worse as well, now that Karamatsu was part of the staff there, but apparently the look of mild discontent Ichimatsu wore wasn’t enough to deter the second-born from ushering him further inside to one of the booths. Settled down into a seat, as his brother asked about his order, Ichimatsu could only stare back up at him like it was the most idiotic question he’d ever heard.

“Tch. I only came in here to see how much of a disaster you are in a place like this.”

Too bad everything looked perfectly fine, but he hadn’t yet witnessed how Karamatsu actually interacted with normal people here. Part of him really hoped he wouldn’t have to.

“Besides, I don’t have much money.”

❝Well unfortunately my dear buraza, I’m doing quite well in this place! In fact the people here are rather nice! I’ve learned so much from them!❞ He blinked when his brother said he didn’t have much on him.

❝Ah well no worries! We do have some affordable items on our menu. If not, I could always treat you myself. I do have discounts on here.❞ He smiles ❝I’ll give you time to look through the menu. If you need me, just call for me.❞ He did have to take care of the other customers that he was serving before his brother after all.

❝Thank you come again my flower!❞ He smiles, turning around and cleaning up the table. He had gotten himself a job. It was rather easy too. Sure he had Jyushimatsu’s help in this, but his position was rather nice. The people he meet are nice and interesting. He has conversations with them too.

Just as he was about to put the dishes and trash away, he hears the bell ring and he looks ❝Welcome to--oh! Ichimatsu!❞ How nice to see his brother visiting. ❝Ah! Wait there buraza, I’ll be right with you.❞ He quickly puts the dishes and the trash away and grabs the menu. It wasn’t a lot, rather small.

❝Right this way.❞ He brings his brother to his booth and hands him the small menu.

i wanna clean up my following list a bit so i’m gonna unfollow and refollow everyone that’s reapplying
